Being a season ticket holder for Predators hockey, I had heard many great things about this place, but I always seemed to end up in the Boro with friends instead of here. The bar is tucked away in this awesome building downtown, and the interior and atmosphere were pretty darn cool. We had no problems with smoke, by the by. MrReaves and I went here with a group of friends on our last night before we moved to Germany. The selection was SOOO much better than either of us anticipated although I took off points because they were sold out of a lot of beers, especially their Trappists which is what MrReaves likes best. We even found a beer that Bridget liked and she only drinks wine (she was a good sport in that little experiment.....). Our Goth waitress in a tiny outfit was very knowledgeable, correctly pronounced the names of the beers and made suggestions very easily-but not always the most expensive stuff, so gold star for her! We ate something while we were there, but the only thing I remember about it was that it took a long time. This could also be attributed to my being drunk, so I’m not going to penalize them because of my hazy memory.

3rd stop in Nashville on Beer Tour 08. I think if I were to die and go to beer heaven it would look a lot like this. An entire wall of taps, coolers full of bottles, live band, and hot, hot and well hot waitresses. We remember getting here, but the rest is a bit fuzzy.

Went on a Thursday night. The selection was weighted towards lagers and English-style ales. I thought the service was terrific. The manager, Jill, runs a great establishment and I had no problems with the service as some other reviewers had noted. The smoke was the biggest detractor, which was the case in every other place in town.

Went on a Wendsday night and the place was fairly packed and very smokey wich made it difficult to enjoy my beer. The service was terrible but they had a decent selection of beer and decent food. Would like to go back when I am in TN and when it is less crowded.

Very nice selection with some that are rarely seen in these parts.
Nice when it’s slow and half empty, o.k. when it has live music on and it becomes noisy and crowded.

Yummy school girl short skirts. :) Oh yea... the beer... they have about 200 beers on tap and more in bottles. So, the selection is really good. They also support most of the local breweries like Yazoo and Blackstone. Food is yummy with a different flair.

Stopped in for a few beers back in February. Service was quick, and the school girl skirt outfits were amusing. Beer list was big, and the offerings I tried were fresh. Was nice to try some things I could not get at home, but found the list to be disappointing overall because it seemed a little spread out and thin in some categories, or not offering some of the best available in any particular style. Cool building and relaxed atmoshpere.

This is your typical Flying Saucer. Had plenty of beers available and I was able to try a Schlafly, which I had never had before. Otherwise, nothing special here; oh, wait I am in Tennessee - maybe this is special.

A nice selection of beer. Live entertainment and good beer. A pretty spacious place. I would like to go back and try it again with a few less excellent beers in me.

I’ve been a frequent of the Saucer in Fort Worth so it was good to see what another one was like. Also cool to see some different regional beers on draft. Anything from Yazoo, especially Dos Perros, is a good choice. Bartender was very gratious with samples, probably tried 5 before I ordered. Couches in the front are good places for converstaions. I also heard in the warmer months the open up the walls.
