November 6, 2009 Went their for a pre-opening party. They officially open on Monday, November 9th. The brewer is the old Big Bucks (now Uncle Bucks Brewers), but the beers don’t show that, they are the standard Gordon Biersch fair. Pretty typical line up. 5 standard beers, plus their seasonal (which wasn’t) on tonight. They do growler fills, and all beer pours are half liters. Wait staff don’t seem to know a whole lot about the beers besides the name and the maltiness level. Food is very good, but my god this place is pricey for what it is. Beer isn’t bad, $5 for .5L during normal hours, and they do have a full bar, but a bill can really add up with the food.
I will be living in the apartment building above this place till mid summer of 2010. If you visit this place without sending a beer mail to say hi, and give me the opportunity to buy you a beer, you are officially "legeing" and being a douche ;)... |
