A cute little place with some really nice beers. I did enjoy a couple of beers from Nøgne Ø. No food, only beer and wine at this place. No music in the background which of course is nice when talking to other people. The service was faultless. The value of the beers was not bad for being Norway. Good, central location.

A very nice place to visit for a few beers with a possibility to have a beer chat with other beer fellows (or the staff). The selection is fantastic compared with a Norwegian bar, even if there are places with more beers the selection seems to be pretty handpicked. A must visit in Bergen.

THE place to visit for beer geeks in Bergen. Boasts several Norwegian micros on tap along with a selection that throws most of its national competitors overboard (which, of course, says more about Norway than this particular selection, but still...). Visible bottles aside, the proprietors also have a beer cellar, so do not hesitate to ask for brands not offered on the menu. Very knowledgeable staff who takes pride in their competence of the beer world and will often recommend new tastes for you according to your stated preferences. Perfect for enjoying beer while conversing, as the bar keeps a no-music policy (so rare!). Clientele is varied and - in my experience - friendly and forthcoming. Excellent place, which hopefully will grow and prosper with the support of local beer lovers who know how the importance of appreciating these kind of spots. God only knows, Norway needs ’em.

went there after dinner at another place rated well here. Had an unusual micro, which, unfortunately wasn’t too good. They did have a large selection of some other Norwegian micros, a few macros and other classics from the world. Bartender was very helpful. Couple patrons were quite warm and welcoming. Good place. Check it out. If I ever return to this city, I’ll return here for sure.

The bar can be found on the first floor of a very central located building. Medium sized quadrangular room with sparse decor on the walls. Almost full range of bottle ales from Nøgne Ø - and with Nøgne Ø Imperial Stout on tap when I visited the bar on 18th June 09. Connected to the informal Nøgne Ø chain, they also have Mikkeller beers and some quality ales from USA, supported by good stuff from Haandbryggeriet and other Norwegian micros. I visited the place both in the afternoon and later the same evening and it seemed to be very popular, meant for drinking and talking. Friendly service. Believed to be the best place for beer enjoyment in Bergen.

Henrik is a great place to go for a beer (200+ different beers) and conversation. Outdoor patio for smokers and those craving sunshine. No music.

A good place to have a beer for a beer geek. I actually found like minded people without much hassle, and tried new beers. Friendly, interested and helpful staff. The entrance was a bit tricky to find, and I’m glad I got the directions up front. It’s on the second floor on top of a Deli de Luca.

Very nice bar on the first floor, pretty close to "Den Nationale Scene" Norways oldest permanent theatre. Good selections of beers on tap including Nøgne Ø. Belgian, British and German selection as well. Popular place with a good mix of clientel

First storey bar above a decent coffee shop and bistro. Popular with postgrads and researchers from the city’s big university. Not many students when we were there (first day of term). Lots of Nogne O and Haansbryggeriet beers plus some Danish and Scottish micros. Good range for Norway. Is there a good value bar anywhere in the country?

Very good selection both bottled and on tap. Good service. Grey ambiance though. Nice bar for a sunny afternoon (not very usual in Bergen).
