Didn’t try the food. Atmosphere was stereotypical, but fun. Bartender knew a bit about the beers he was serving, but not much about the Hofbrau brewery. I had fun.

The sign above the entrance should read: "prepare thyself to get wasted". This place is very cool. Traditional beer hall german style interior, and three different outdoor patios with picnic tables. The patio out back has a fire fountain and is very ’garden’ like. The waitresses all dress up in traditional garb that makes even the bustiest girl jealous. Just don’t get caught staring. And be prepared to leave your wallet behind. The 5 beer sampler runs $14. My wife and I each had and appetizer and 2 liters of beer, and dropped $120 not including tip. Granted, it was my fault for insisting that we drink out of liter boots, which appearantly ups the price of a liter to 25 bucks, but still, you get to keep the glass. Definitely a must if you are visiting pier park.

Was here over New Year’s. Is was very interesting to see this German style place this close to the beach. Very busy on my visit because of the holidays but the service kept up and was very friendly. They only had 4 of their beers available on my visit and of the ones I had they were just ok. The food was decent. Like MrR said, it’s a cool place to check out if in the area to get a little German culture, beer, and food.

Located at Pier Park in Panama City Beach, this place is at the heart of what turned out to be a very nice shopping area not far from the beach. Why PCB didnt have something like this before is beyond me. The restaurant itself is a fairly typical German-style gastette with long benches and tables. An accordion player was playing on the stage. The food was okay although I like my schnitzel a little more thick. Not a bad place to get a fix of German beer and food.
