It’s a diamond in a strip mall. 48 craft beers on tap (I went with Stone’s Vertical 09-09-09), and 200 refrigerated bottles line up like military soliders behind the bar. I had my first Cigar City ale there (110K+OT!!!) and was so happy I walked out with the bottle. The service is friendly and there’s a huge plasma TV right behind the bar to watch the game. Overall, it’s a great place to chill with friends. I just wish they served food other than potato chips. #24 on 29102009, DG.

48 of the best import and microbrew draft beer in the world. The decor is simple and elegant with a stainless steel counter top, real brick wall and wood. There is always something going on at night from live music to open art from a DJ to Poker. Average beer is $5.50 which is very reasonable for a great import beer on draft, 34oz Hofbrau Original or Dunkel for $9.00. They also carry some very rare beer like the Stone 09-09-09 and the Left hand St. Vrain. Check the eb site is www.hobflorida.com

This is a new bar in a nice upscale strip center in South Orlando off John Young Parkway. It is nice and big inside with plenty tables and booths to sit at on the right when you walk in and a very long bar on the left side of the room. There isn’t a lot of decor yet, but they just opened. There is 48 taps along the back wall with a nice variety of beer to choose from. There was no Bud or Miller on draft, but they had it in bottles. THe main draw back though is the prices as they were very high compared to other places. It is still a nice spot, and hopefully it does well, but I think they should lower the prices if they want to get more business.

Brand new spot in a nice strip mall on Orlando’s south side. Spacious and clean inside. The left side of the room is set up like a lounge, with tables and benches setup in alcove fashion. The right side of the room consists of a long bar with a single plasma screen (soccer was on while I was there). 48 taps line the wall, with some very nice selections. The draft pricing is ASTRONOMICALLY high, completely out of line with other beer bars in Orlando with similar or better selections. Bottle pricing was more reasonable, but still on the high side. There are some unfortunate choices on the bottle list, including lots of pale lagers and even the dreaded Bud Light Lime (why on earth would a supposed craft beer bar carry this?) Anyway, its a nice spot and it represents a major improvement in the Disney-dominated South Orlando beer scene, but the pricing will most likely keep me from going back.

Great Place, very large selection for the area, staff was really knowledgeable, Had a bunch of beer you cant find many places if at all in Orlando. Would recommend it for sure
