this place is packed every time i visit and the wait is long. beer is in house on tap, so the selection tends to be a balance of a dozen beers. food is typical brewery- chain fare and is good. last time i was there it was "deaf-night" and the bar was eerily quieter than the throngs of ppl would have indicated. .. but it must be sign-language friendly!

It takes a while to get seated, but food comes out ridiculously fast. I’ve been to this place a half dozen times. The food is awesome, and it has decent beer too. There are better places for better beer, but Iron Hill is a great place for a meal and a drink.

Iron Hill is a brewpub chain. They have quite a few different beers, but I personally don’t really like any of them. They try to offer complex dishes, which come out not that great and are too expensive. I would go there again but it would never be my first choice.

My first time to any Iron Hill location and I was very impressed. Pleasant atmosphere, with a nice mix of blond wood and burnished metal. (Don’t like the menu fonts, but whatever.) Service was actually extremely good, with intelligent beer commentary from our server (Bill) and prompt (but not too prompt) food delivery. Beers were delicious, and they had a more than customary assortment of seasonals to complement their regular taps. And then there was the bottle list, for takeout. Hells yeah.

Standard Iron Hill decor is nice. Service is friendly. Decent selection of house brew, specials, and house bottles. Food is quite good. Get the cheesesteak egg rolls.

It takes a while to get seated, but food comes out ridiculously fast. The sandwiches came out before the beer one time! That may have just been an anomaly. Anyway, I’ve been to this place a half dozen times. The food is awesome, and it has good beer too. There are better places for better beer, but Iron Hill is a great place for a meal and a drink.

This place didn’t do it for me. It seemed more like a diner that happened to make a couple of beers. Did the sampler, and didn’t really enjoy any of them. The waitress yapped her brains off, but wasn’t really helpful for all the yapping she did. I understand they make some private reserve stuff, and would keep an open mind when trying them in the future.

I always seem to wind up here with my siblings when I come to SE PA to visit. (their choice). The on tap beer selection usually seems mediocre at best although the food can be ok. I’d never come here if I got to call the shot myself.

Nice place with standard Iron Hill decor and a good selection of beers (this one and North Wales always seem to have a bit more). Food was good and service very prompt - my only real complaint about some Iron Hill’s (DE locations) is when they leave you with an empty glass for an extended period of time - didn’t happen here. My #2 favorite Iron Hill location behind North Wales.

Had dinner here with my girfriend this past Sunday. There was a 25 minute wait for a table, so we ate at the bar. I started off with a Wee Heavy, which was delicious. We really enjoyed the food. Service was great. I wish their bottles were a bit less expensive; I’d love to have a few old ales in my fridge right now!
