Good pub, visited on a Saturday lunchtime, food (burgers) was excellent and was great value, chips are highly recommended! It seems to be quite a food orientated pub, that said, the beer (I had Yates) was superb. Worth a visit!

The best pub in Carlisle for consistent high quality real ale. Yates Bitter always available, with one, sometimes two guest beers. Traditional style pub, very well run, with a pleasant, covered, outdoor area at the back. Good value pub grub.
