Quite spacious, I’ve been there a few times but only ever sat at the bar. Not a bad selection, I’d say they had a dozen or so brews. Food was decent but not spectacular but good enough. They’ve got pool tables and sometimes they get bands playing music. I thought the prices were very good. They had one of their lagers on special for a buck (it wasn’t all that great but it’s a buck!) and their pints were $3.25. At nights, depending on what is going on (or who is playing) it can get quite crowded. All in all I like it and would have no problems going back.

Quite unusual for a brewpub. Rather large and rather ugly place. Just by the look of the place you’d think you are walking into some kind of redneck hillbilly hangout. I can easily imagine a country music dance night taking place in there. The estate has potential though. However what really counts is the beer and the beer IS good. When I was there, there were 9 regular taps and 4 seasonal taps. One 2 or 3 of the 13 taps were crowd-pleasing fillers. Everything else was original and/or delicious. Food was good. Typical decent greasy pub food. Fries were excellent. If you’re lucky is the brewer (dirtymike) will recognize you as a beer geek and bring some behind-the-counter stuff. That’s what happened to us. Worth the detour.

The beer is good, the stout is a tad too bitter for me... The scotch ale has some cahones, for real. 4 of those and you are feeling capitol.

Really bad service. My wife and I had to wait 10 minutes before being served and it wasn’t crowded. I ordeded chicken wings for about 6.99 (I figured there would be 8-10), and my wife ordered a hamburger--well done. Hamburger was red, not pink, in the middle, and I only got 5 wings. No napkins were provided. No silverware. At least the beer was pretty good.

Milly’s Tavern is the brewpub to visit in Manchester, NH. The Brewer, Mike, is extremely good at what he does. The selection is always great and always being updated. Mike brews many different beers in many different styles. It is located in the basement of one of the mill buildings by the Merrimack River. There is always somewhere to park; the parking lot is very accomodating. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The food is decent. May I suggest the chicken parmigiana sub with pub fries? Stop by when you are in the area. You will not be disappointed. : )

The best place in Manchester to have a good fresh beer. Dirtymike brews everything there and his devotion to beer shows in final product. At least eight beers on tap with cask ales and new experiments always showing up. $1 pints between 4-7pm weekdays can make getting home after work a challenge. It can get smokey and loud on the weekends, so make sure that you get there before the sun sets on the weekend.

This is the second-best place in Manchester, to my taste. Ambience, Service, Selection and Food ratings each has to be considered as aggregates. The ambience was wonderful for a tavern, mediocre at best for a brewpub. Service was redeeemed by enthusiasm (where skill let it down). The selection of on-site brews is excellent, if you remember to read the beer menu, and not just the menu boards. The food, like the service, is half decent - but the willingness to please brings it up a notch. All-in-all, of course, you’re there for the beer, which is bang on its menu descriptions. A great counterpoint to Strange Brew.

as others have mentioned, in the basement of an older industrial building along the river in Manchester. The most important thing IMO is the beer, and it is very good. Every beer I have had there is at least a solid offering. 8 full time beers on tap with at least 4 seasonals on all the time pretty much ensures there will be something you like to drink. Brewer dirtymike offers excellent hospitality and will gladly answer any questions you have for him.

A welcoming, friendly place in Manchester’s Millyard. I didn’t try the food, but the brews are excellent. An excellent variety of brews available on tap, as well as cask-conditioned brews available on Friday nights. Another bonus is the "Beat the Clock" special on Tuesday nights. Service is usually good, perhaps a bit rushed. I try to make it to Milly’s once a week.

Big basement pub in a revamped industrial area. I came at a bad time, it was crowded a bit smokey and there was a band playing. I would like to come again sometime. The beers where cheap, bartender was nice and I can see it being much more enjoyable with less of a crowd.
