Nice brewpub in a residential area some minutes walk from the city center. Rather small place with dark wooden interior and a large bar in the center. They only serve their own beers, and they had six on tap at my visit. The beers are quite good as well. Service was friendly and efficient. Mainly inhabited by friendly locals. Nice and friendly place worth the walk.

Brewpub set in a recidental area in Oslo, easy reachable by foot from the city centre. 5 beers on tap when visiting, available in half pint glasses. Free WiFi is also accesible.

Brewpub with fairly decent self brewed selection. I keep coming back when in town, especially for their porter. I find the staff to be non-imposing, friendly and educated about beer. The ambiance is to my liking, it’s worn, unpretentious and usually calm. This time Ithere was a tour going on with about 10 people. I had their Weizen, Amber and Stout this time, and I also had a taster of IPA and Pils. All were good except the Pils which tasted of mash.

Cozy place, brown pub. Music can get a little loud late in the evening. Not all of the staff knows enough about their beers in my opinion, seeing as it’s a brewpub, but they’re nice and friendly. Anyways, their beers are good, they keep 6 or so beers on tap at any time. Prices are steep, but the whole experience is nice. Lovely place to have a pint.

I have visited the Microbrewery a lot of times when I stay in Oslo. I like the beers and I think they do their best to make good beer. I would like them to have a better selection and to make a lot more beer. Try som new styles?

Probably the best place in Oslo if you want to enjoy some fine quality beer on tap. A brown pub with lots of seats all around the place, clean toilets too. Nice and helpful bartenders. They played good rock music too, and it was not too loud - which is a huge plus. The only drag was that they seemed to only have 20 songs in their collection that night. They had 6 beers on tap when I visited: Oslo Pils, Bitter, Steamer, Stout, Porter and Hefe Weissen. I tried all during the night thanks the the 0,33l glasses. The stout was excellent, so was the porter. Prices are high, but not any higher than you would pay for a Guinness anywhere in town, absolutely worth it, highly recommended for anyone who visits Oslo. Excellent place!

The only brewpub in town and also the only place to purchase their beer, make this pub a must when visiting Oslo. It’s actually the oldest surviving microbrewery in Norway. They only sell their own beers, normally about 5 on tap at any time and some seasonally rotation. All beers are drinkable but not exactly very exiting, varying from OK to very nice. At daytime and early evening this is normally a quite place, but can be quite crowded at week-end nights. Some foreign guests complains about the prices, but this should not influence the score since everything involved with alcohol is expensive in Norway and this brewpub is just in the middle of the road regarding price level.

Normal pub style bar. They just sell they own brew. They have a respectable variation but a very low quality product, apart from a couple of beers, the rest is nothing special. Service is very average norwegian style.

For me a trip to Oslo is not completed without a visit to the only brewpub in our capital. It is always a pleasure to be a guest at this cosy place, either in the rather lazy early afternoons or in the lively evenings. Well made brews served by a friendly and knowledgeable staff - mostly young women who know their craft. Oslo Pils, Steamer, Stout, Export, and this year’s Juleøl were on during my visit in mid-November 07. In the first week of Advent they will have the Julebrygg ready - I’ll be back then!Oslo Mikrobryggeri is not far from Centra Colosseum with its good selection of beer under 4.7% ABV. When visiting OMB don’t forget to ask for EN ALEN ØL. Last visited: 13.11.2007
