A restaurant that serves traditional Tuscan food like Lucchesi. Good food, but it would not have been rated had it not been for the fantastic bottle of local Lucca handcrafted brew they were serving from La Petrognola which I did not find at other cafe’s and restaurants. If you’re in Lucca anyway, it’s worth the visit - even though it’s not a beer place. "Sorry about that! We are more specialized in wine than in beer" was the feedback I got when I had to ask for both a new unagitated bottle and a bigger glass to be able to pour the bottle fermented contents without the fall out.
