December 23, 2009 Here on vacation 7-31-09...ordered a beer sampler with a side of excellent service...the whole place had a nice hometown feel to it....the beer was good...music as well....love the fact that its a wind powered brewpub (the 1st)...an added plus to the place would be the old school games in the corner, including a sit down pac man!...did not try the food this round, but i’d love to go back for a visit |

October 11, 2009 We stopped by here for lunch on our way back home after a week in the OBX. The server was very friendly and we found both the food and the beer to be pretty good. If you stop in, go for the beer battered chicken sandwich and the hush puppies. Both were first rate. Skip the burger which turned out to be very overcooked. They have a good selection of their own beers on tap, a guest tap, and some BMC products in bottles. Worth a stop if you happen to be down in that area. |

July 31, 2009 Looks like an old church that has been converted. Cool layout. Cramped dining area but the bar is nice and long. Outside deck area with a playground and games. Very limited selection of six of their beers and BMC bottles. Prices not too bad but they upcharge on their sampler a $1 for each beer over 6%. That sucks. Would go again but not go out of my way to get there. |

July 20, 2009 Visited twice the week of 07/13/09. Building was ok, average crowd both times I went. Had lunch the first time and tried the NC BBQ sandwich which was great. My wife and daughter both laughed when I said MMMMMMMM! after biting into it. Had the smpler and the lemongrass brew in bottle as it was sold out on tap. Loved the Santa’s Sledgehammer brew wish I could have taken home some for the holidays. Went back and had some freakin awesome Calamari and Chips N Dip. The Licorice Stout got my attention this time. Nice brew with unique taste. By far the best place to go on the banks. |

July 8, 2009 Nice place with a knowledgable helpful staff. Has some good brews on tap with a guest brew on tap also. Has bottles of macro swill if thats what you want. I liked their beer and also had some crab bisque which was real good. They have growlers and some bottles to go. Nice Tshirts. Not bad prices. |

September 21, 2008 Average service, ok beer and poor food left me a little depressed hitting this place while I was on vacation. I won’t go back next time I’m in Outer Banks. |

July 5, 2008 Visited week of Memorial day 08. Nice building, has a windmill that they supposedly get their power from. Has some old school video games and foosball. Enough TVs, watched the Pistons this night. Beers were good, service was excellent. Wish they would have had more of their offerings available. I’m guessing most things on this island are a busy on the weekend dead during the weak, so they are probably set up with that in mind. |

June 15, 2008 First visit here. Went on Friday, June 13th. Had dinner and sampled all of their beers. Service was very efficient. Ordered the bratwurst platter and though done well enough, was kind of small for the price. The beers were all well done and tasty enough. They had six on, and I got through them all over the course of the evening. Went left when the DJ started up. Will definitely go back. |

April 23, 2008 Didn’t try the food, except some chips and salsa. Beer was good and service was good. Many home brews to chose from brewed right there. A must if you are at this part of the country. |
