| HomeBrewHawk (15), De Soto, Kansas | | August 6, 2009 I was visiting my Mother and stopped in to pick up some beer to drink. They had a lot of singles to choose from in the cooler. Just my luck, it was 10% off of mixed sixers. I’m not sure how their selection compares to what is available in Arizona, but for an out of towner, I found plenty of stuff I wanted to try. Lots of California, Colorado and local micros. Lagunitas, DFH, Port and Stone were some of the highlights for me. Regrettably, I didn’t really check out the foreign section.
They have a deli and pizza as well. I didn’t eat any food, but the guy behind the counter said you could drink beer or wine purchased in the store. That sounded like a good deal to me. Prices seemed reasonable. I didn’t ask anyone beer related questions, but the one worker that I interacted with seemed eager and friendly. | | nbutler11 (72), Phoenix, Arizona | | April 13, 2009 Nice place. Very well kept with an attractive sandwich operation attached. Everythhing is refrigerated with micros broken into singles and macros kept in 12s and 6-packs. Has a very AZ BevMo selection, which isn’t a bad thing, just limited for the location. | trey0101 (1), Prescott, Arizona does not count - explanation | | January 3, 2009 Great Beer Selection over 500 singles to choose from. Staff is super knowledgable. Build your own 6 pack format is great. You can enjoy any of the 800+ wines and 500+ beers with your meal. They have great woodfired pizza as well as big sandwiches. All the bread is baked on premise. Plus they make there own fresh mozzarella!!! |
