October 11, 2009 Fun place in Kent. Thanks to Brad for opening up for us. Small space but great beer selection - Brooklyn Black Choc. Stout, Great Lakes Nosferatu, some ciders, some Belgians, all the Stones. I didn’t eat there because they weren’t open yet but I had a blast. |
May 16, 2008 Relatively new bar in Kent. Overall, in comparison to other Kent bars and their beer selection, it’s pretty good. With exception to Ray’s, it has the best selection of both bottles and draught beer. Most of the stuff can be found at Ray’s or one of the bottle shops, and it’s a little pricey, but if it’s a nice change of pace to stop in for a few. A lot of Great Lakes, Bell’s, New Holland, Dogfish Head, and all the macro stuff too.
As far as ambiance, it’s very raw and you can tell it’s kind of a new bar with a hodgepodge of tables and booths. It’s usually busy at nights but not overly crowded like most of the other bars. They have a large tv behind the bar with a sports game on or Wii playing. There’s also a projection on the wall to the side that plays a movie. Along with the Wii, they have old games to play like Connect 4, Trivial Pursuit, and Dream Date, with a pinball machine by the bathroom.
They also serve food- sandwiches and wraps. The wrap was good and filled you up for $6. |
