November 26, 2009 Great place that just loves beer and being on the east coast. Miss not having a reason to go visit more often. Growlers are the best idea and value. I just love this place and there beer. |

October 19, 2009 A cool little microbrewery, with a nice tasting room for tours, some taps for tasting, albeit, again, no special offerings. Some tchotchkes available for sale, and growlers to fill. Parking may be a problem dduring the week. |

July 3, 2009 I liked their beer. I am torn if the garrison or propeller brew better beer. Most try both again when I am back in town. |

October 29, 2008 [ Updated November 1, 2008 ] Good place to get bottles of Propeller or seasonal specials. I will have to do the tour one day or maybe rent out the bar for good sesh. |

September 26, 2008 Small tasting bar, with takeaway beer. You can buy some swag here. The service is friendly, but it’s too bad you can’t order a pint. Probably worth a stop just to ensure your Propeller is fresh. |

July 10, 2007 The growlers are a sweet deal. I havent bought bottled beer in Halifax since I discovered them. I wish every town had a brewery like this (someday, maybe when I rule the world). The $15 brewery tour may seem overpriced, but it is "all you care to drink" for 2 hours, so it is worth it to students on budgets and partiers alike. I have successfully turned many friends onto "real beer" through these events. The actual "tour" is even optional. Great place for a staff party or the like, and plus Propeller beer is pretty dammn good. |

May 21, 2007 Free tap samples of all the available Propeller beers in the store! They had about 6-7 bottled beers available when I was there (including Revolution). Prices are the same (but more selection) as I saw later at a downtown beer/wine store. They also do growlers for $8 (more for Revolution I assume). Young, friendly staff in the store are helpful but knowledge about the beer is a little limited. T-shirts and glassware also available in a clean, well-kept store. I didn’t do the tour but apparently it is $15 per head (ouch) for groups of 10 or more. |
