bigleigh (7), , England does not count - explanation | | October 4, 2009 sat in the middle of Miracle Shopping Mall, small bar with 4 sin city brews plus a seasonal one(Czech pils when I was there),bar man very informative, good place to have a beer when the wife goes shopping. | | j12601 (52), Poughkeepsie, New York | | August 29, 2009
The first Vegas beer I came across, happened to be in the hotel where I was staying (Flamingo). The beers themselves were a bit expensive at $6 for a plastic cup. The bartender didn’t seem to be forthcoming with any information about the beer (I learned more from the bartender at Gordon Biersch (where apparently Sin City brews it’s beer after hours at GB) than from the Sin City guy), and the place itself seems geared more at selling merchandise than beer. I guess it’s worth a quick stop in if you’re near, but I wouldn’t go out of the way to hit it, and wouldn’t go back myself.
| | drowland (42), Tallahassee, Florida | | August 21, 2009 I visited the Miracle Mile location a couple of years ago while in vacation in Las Vegas. Not a bad place, but nothing great by any means. The ambiance was... okay. It was basically a little bar stuck into the middle of a mall, which was weird, and surprising. It was a very small bar with just a few seats and a table or two - nothing special at all. The service was pretty good. The bartender was a lady and there were only a few people in the place, and she was attentive to all of us and knew about the beers. The selection was okay considering the size of the place - it was their beers only with nothing else. There was no food and the value was average - slightly overpriced beers, but hey, it’s Vegas. Overall, a cool place to visit while in Vegas, and I wish I could hit up their new location now! | | Strykzone (40), Wood River, Illinois | | August 7, 2009 A nice cool place on the ramp from the tram to the Flamingo. Their beers were sweet and felt great in the mouth. Very Vegas-esque their brews were decadent if not great. Their hefe was my favorite. The bar itself was small with about 10 seats. No food was available. The bartender knew his stuff regarding their beer and about the Vegas beer scene in general. I was glad to have stopped here and sampled their beer but, except for the hefe, was disappointed with the quality of their beers. | | Grovlam (46), Copenhagen, Denmark | | June 23, 2009 Small draught bar where they only serve there own beer. Service had no prior experience in beer related matters. Got some free samples so he was friendly enough. You can gamble at the bar…..well it is Vegas after all. | | sebletitje (78), Tampa, Florida | | May 12, 2009 Inside Flamingo hotel. Small bar with 4 beers. This is Vegas and it feels like this brewery is doing everything to cash in on the "sin city" image. While there, it seemed they were selling more tshirts to visitors than actual beers.
Beers aren’t great, though the stout was decent. Only 4 beers. Servers had no idea about the beer, just insisted on you playing the bar slot machines.
As alwasy in Vegas, value is free if you play, so it’s always a good deal. | | Cletus (175), Connecticut | | April 17, 2009 A small place with 4 taps of their own beer. Their beers are pricey. Stopped in briefly to check it out. Not a bad stop, but there are much better breweries in Vegas. | | Tmoney99 (254), Cincinnati, Ohio | | February 14, 2009 Store front pub in the Mriacle Mile shops in Planet Hollywood. Freindly service. Four taps of average to good beers. Sin City products for purchase with some entertaining qoutes. Nice small location.
| | nqualls (35), Nashville, Tennessee | | January 16, 2009 Visited this place in the Miracle Mile shopping centers inside Planet Hollywood. They had four beers on tap, all of which were decent. The bartender was helpful and talkative. If you buy a pint glass, you get half off of a beer, so buy the glass. I was staying in this place, so I went here a couple of times throughout the week. Overall it was nothing fancy, but a decent place. | | theisti (114), Leawood, Kansas | | January 8, 2009 Visited in October of 2007. This is in the middle of a shopping mall, and the ambiance is about what you would expect for a tiny 6 stool bar to be in the middle of a shopping mall. Having said that, this is a bar with decent enough beer in a shopping mall. Probably worth seeking out if you have some extra time to kill in Vegas, but that is about it. Bartender was nice, and I chatted with a couple of guys who seemed to be regulars. Yep, regulars at a tiny bar in a shopping mall in Vegas. I hope they worked at the mall. |
