I will go back. Dim lighting, big beer board, kinda reminds me of a Valentine themed club - unclear why. Beer is great - Strauss, AleSmith, Mission, etc. Reminded me a lot of Hamilton’s menu that night actually. It’s no Liar’s Club though...

Opened by Blair and the folks at Hamiltons. This is a little farther from me than Live Wire, and I’ve only been once. I was psyched to see a sour on tap that I hadn’t rated, this place is cool, but the night I went it was so packed, it took me a while to get a beer and I couldn’t hear myself think. I’m sure that in time when I go back not on Friday it will be less of a crazy vibe inside. This place has a lot of potential and I hear the food is good too. Its nice to have the full bar for the friends who don’t want to go to a purely beer bar. (also more pricey than Hams.)

Now officially the closest beer bar to my house...The inside is dark with black and red the theme colors. The beer blackboard is in red and white chalk, listing 42 beers available on draft...nothing too rare, but certainly competitive to blind lady/toronado/hamiltons. Better though is the big bourbon and scotch list on the back page of the menu. the food menu is pub fair...with some hamilton menu items showing up. they have a full bar, so there’s a cocktail menu too. Small dive bar appearance, and I was greeted by louis, the owner of the former liars club....not sure his involvment here, he disappeared soon after I saw him. I was hoping after seeing him that maybe the fuego would be making a comeback...and there’s a spicy steakmelt on the menu, but the description doesn’t match the fuego and after talking to louis once he reappered, its not the fuego...but, we’ll have to try that some day regardless. I don’t think they have a bottle list. On tap, among many, were rodenbach, st. Bernardus 12, pliny, a couple brewdog beers, some alesmith, green flash, chimay white, damnation, saison dupont, etc. Haven’t eaten yet, but ill probably order something after 1 more beer. Has potential for sure, just too soon to know. The neighborhood (and I used to live 3 blocks away) is certainly going to attract some annoying people. Ill leave it at that.
