Located in central Jackson. A open and simple brewpub with 7 Snake River beers on tap and one on cask (the Zonker). Very good service, and nice beers. During the summer the outside is full of locals, many of whom drive to the pub on their bikes. A fun place.

I love this place. I’m a tourist, so I try not to let my tourist stench linger after I leave, but I most certainly make a point to plant my arse at the bar for a good six hours at least a couple of times whilst I’m in town. I actually made it through one of each beer last time I was up in the Hole. I will never be more thankful for the close proximity of my hotel to the pub. They changed owners around the last time we were there. Nothing had visibly changed, which is a good thing. If you have a novice beer drinker with you, let them suck down a couple of Snake River Lager’s. That’ll get them started. Then slip a Pale Ale their way, and finish them off with a Porter if it’s on tap. I had an organic brew while I was there, that was quite good.

Great food. Menu has someting for everyone. Excellent beers. Alway someting on cask. Zonker (Stout) is best on cast, give it a try. Pale and IPA also very good. Award winning beer offering. Nice selection of pubware.

Fun place to visit, but I wouldn’t want it to be my regular brewpub. Very open building with high ceilings lots of looks as the brewing equipment. Kind of noisy and lots of eccentric locals. The beer list was 5-6 deep on tap and one on cask. They do map out what it coming on tap for the entire year, which is neat. Food was above average and the service was great. I’ll go back next time I head to Jackson.

Boy do I love this place. I wish I wasn’t 2,000+ miles away! We ate there 3 times this last vacation. They had six or seven beers on tap and I managed to try them all throughout the week. The food is great. For dessert, try a Zonker Stout Ice Cream Float. One of the guys at the brewery turned me on to it and it was awesome! About the only complaint I had this trip was that they had no root beer (they brew their own) all week. Apparently July 4th wiped them out and they had trouble getting in the syrup to make a new batch. The kids were disappointed because they loved it last trip out. Alas, something to look forward to next time!

Big old space with lots happening, south of the main drag in Jackson. Wonderful brick oven pizzas! Wonderful brew selection, outdoor area also. Fun time!

Large, hard to miss building in a more obscure part of Jackson. Large patio with lots of people and dogs despite the "No Dogs" signs. Inside is just like a big converted warehouse. Lots of tables and bar area. Brewing equipment is mostly upstairs/on the side next to all of the award banners that they had printed up for themselves. Almost all of the beers which had won awards were no where to be found though. For the amount of beers they showcase on their website and the amount of taps, I was surprised to find only 6 different beers on tap with a brown ale on cask. C’mon, I want some of that Zonker on cask! The food was spendy and decent. I got a crawfish tail pizza which was tasty, but the edges were REALLY burnt. The beers were ok and it was super loud. The waitstaff was educated and helpful, but it was so busy they couldn’t stick around for long. $8 for a 6/pk to go, which is rediculous because I can get them for $6 each in Boise, after tacking on shipping and 2-3 more middlemen! Oh well, I digress. Decent place for Jackson I guess.

This place was on the Rachel Ray show and got me interested to visit, but like Rachel Ray it was/is nothing to write home about. The friggin ceaser salad & hummis were lousy. And the beer? I better keep my mouth shut. Razzzzzzberries.

Stopped during our tour of Eastern Washington, Northern Idaho, Western Montana and Western Wyoming regions. As we visited all the National Parks and Breweries summer 2004. This was a fun place to stop at. We where there during the county fair so they had a band and all sorts of good brews being served. The food was awesome and we had a great time. The service is a bit off due to they are ski bums trying to make a buck and tend not to know manners. We will go again just for the beer and food. They have won tons of awards and are proud of it. They do need to add XXL shirts to there wears. Hey we are beer drinkers and we are big. Small shirts are for light beer drinkers XXL for us big boys that like a good robust brew.

July 2000: I could retire in the Jackson area and this brewpub is part of the draw. Excellent beer, great food, neat restaurant and a jovial staff. Outstanding!
