September 1, 2009 Very pleasant staff who certainly know the one beer they brew. Got to love the setting for the brewery and they’ve put together a pretty solid combination of working-man/trendy/historic style to the place. Tour is straight-forward and informative. Very generous with the free samples and you get a pretty good deal if you buy beer with the tour (got a 6-pack for additional $7). Having only one beer obviously hurts the score, but it doesn’t seem right to slam them too hard for it, so added a couple points. Definitely worth a stop in for beer fans in Toronto, even if you’re not a big fan of the beer itself. |

August 24, 2009 Pretty sweet place. Arrived just after the last tour took off and it was Friday aft so it was busy. Had a beer just to kill some time after walking here from my hotel. Really nice setup, will probably come back and actually do the tour. Really nice being beside the train museum and having the old train engines and cars in the yard. |

July 23, 2009 Dude! Took a long ass walk from BMO field after Toronto FC tied Houston Dynamo Saturday for a bachelor pary, And somewhat snuc in through the back door of this place. The outside is under construction and should look pretty nice when done. No tour of the place but was able to see some of the tanks and hang out in the tasting room. They required a tcket to drink s I went ahead and asked for a six pack for 12.00 COLD, got it and went ahead and opened it, I aske the counter for a bottle opener and they freaked out, saying I wasn’t aloud to drink those there. Ha ha ha pretty fun shit. so my buddy asked some other worker for a few cup and had me some $2 beers. The place is nice, it gets packed especially after a Blue Jays game. The selction is ONE beer so that sucks. Service, those guys ar fools! Nice time! |

April 4, 2009 I hate to see me have such a "poor" rating on this place, but the "one beer" kills my "selection score". Showed up just as the last tour was leaving for the day. Disappointed, obviously, we wondered aloud what we should do- "Have a beer!" the guy says and pours us a decent sized sample glass. Good beer, wish I could get it in the States. |

October 27, 2008 Visited Steamwhistle during a trip to Toronto. Probably one of the best highlights of my trip. The tour was enjoyable and entertaining....the beer is crisp and clean...goes down smooth...while they only brew one style of beer....they do it very well...grated the beer is not available in the United States, it is a place I will come back to when I go back to Toronto |

May 21, 2008 Just the one beer, a must stop if you are in the area. Most pleasant tasting room. Lots of stuff going on in the summer, such as toy train exhibitions, a porch and food. |

May 17, 2008 Neat building and great location in the heart of downtown Toronto steps from the Rogers Centre/SkyDome, CN Tower and ACC. May lose a little ambiance when the Leon’s goes in next door. Staff are friendly and fairly knowledgable. Fun place to go for events. |

February 20, 2008 I had a great time, the tour guide was really cool and knew her beer. With the tour we got 3 samples of the Steamwhistle beer. I’d do it again. |

October 29, 2007 A greatb location with some very cool folks. They were able to give a tour to me (a single) and take a long time without rushing me through. Great location and some really excellent pilsner. |
