| gerrit (12), , Austria | | May 15, 2009 tourist meeting point, they are not self brewing, when there is no time to look for some places outside go there | iammarc (9), Inverness, Scotland does not count - explanation | | October 26, 2008 Oct 2008. Traditional old style German place, plenty of tables and benches when we visited. A nice warm atmosphere, can’t help thinking it would be the kind of place you would long for on a winters day. Beer selection not bad, I had their very own Stern Bier, not a bad taster. Never had the food although it did look impressive. | | larsga (108), Oslo, Norway | | June 2, 2008 Nice traditional German-style place divided into several different places, with a formal restaurant, a kind of nightclub, a pub, and so on. We sat in the informal restaurant, and later the pub. They had a decent selection of Austrian beer, but nothing terribly exciting. The food was very good, though. Service was so-so. | | bigcat03 (10), Lincoln, Nebraska | | August 7, 2007 I enjoyed this place a good bit, actually. A nice beer garden in the center. Service was good and the server spoke fairly good English and humored our attempts at German. :) Food was excellent...probably one of the top 5 places I ate while in Europe. Prices were not outrageous at all. They were along the same lines if not slightly cheaper than other places in the berg. | | Rastacouere (475), Montréal, Quebec | | July 26, 2007 [ Updated November 20, 2007 ] Kind of a beer complex in the middle of Salzburg´s centre. Not a place I enjoyed, tourists walk less than a meter from you just trying to cross from a road to another. Quite pricier than other places. Really a tourist joint. |
