A little out of the way, but completely worth the drive into Mesa. Nothing too rare, but an amazing selection all the same. The only down side is that around half of the inventory has a centimeter of dust on top of it from neglect and the atmosphere almost warrants wearing a bullett proof vest.

Great selection, been hitting this place for years. Dark and dusty at times, can even find some old stuff. Where else can you get Bert Grant’s IPA still, how long have they been closed down? But really, they do have some great stuff here. Wish I had this selection back in MT.

Dodgy looking place a bit off the beaten path. The lighting is low, so you know that they either care about their beer or are trying to do their part to use less electricity. The selection is very good and very similar to that at Tops Liquors in Tempe. You are free to assemble mixed sixes at will. Well worth a visit, but I preferred Tops just slightly.

This place is fantastic! It’s not pretty to look at, but what a great selection of beer. I think it might even be better than Plaza Liquors. The prices are reasonable and the staff was friendly enough. A great place to find beer. They wouldn’t let me use thier bathroom though. Hence, the 8 for Service.

When you walk in this place, your first instinct may be to turn around and walk out. But, take a few minutes to stroll around the somewhat disorganized dusty shelves and haphazardly placed displays and you will be rewarded. There are boxes of empty six-pack holers placed around the beer areas, so feel free to grab a couple and fill them with whatever you can find. And don’t worry about breaking up another six-pack to get what you want, it is not a problem here. Can’t find exactly what you are looking for? Just ask, most of the employees know the exact location of everything in the store, and seem to have sampled a great majority of them. Looking for a keg? They have a great selection. And they are more than happy to roll out to your car and help load it. This place is truly amazing!

They have such a great selection, and you can mix and match. I’ve never seen a place like this, even in California.

Gets better every time I go back. The first great thing about this place is the selection rotates! Their Belgians are always changing, their locals are always changing, craft brews from around the world are shifting in and out. I have found Rochefort, Dogfish, Mikkeller, everything from CO, AleSmith, Norbryggert, Nils Oscar and much, much more. Brewers are always coming in and out based on season and whimsy. The other great thing: this is the retired beer capital of the western US. I walked in and tripped over a case of Olfabrikken Abbey Ale last time. Awesome Eastern European selection and an underground bar top off an already fabulous place.

I have to travel a long distance, since i’m very choosy on what I drink (No trip to Frys’s for Miller. Bud or Coors for me)and it’s made worthwhile by the Selection and knowledgable staff (Thanks Bearded guy and Bald headed Dude :) ). If they don’t have it by some odd chance, they WILL get it for you quickly if at all possible. Some Beers can be pricey so ask the staff, For instance Big Boss Porter for 2.19, a Polish Porter is much better to me than say S’Peter’s Porter for 3.99. My favorite Fullers London Porter is a must for a Porter Lover. I love to try new beers and the staff are very helpful when it comes to that which is why I finally tried the valued Belgian Beers yum. If your in the area, make sure you have some time, the selction is just awesome and I spent more than an hour my first visit......TMANAZ
