3 reviews for The Amsterdam Bar
| beer4mencc1701 (15), Irving, Texas | | August 5, 2009 Average beer selection, I agree with the other reviews that the neighborhood is not a nice one. Quirky wall decor & the crowd was not overwhelming, but we visited on a night without music. Not sure I’d go out of my way to go back here, but if it was in my neighhborhood, I’d probably drop in again. | | Walt (185), Chicago, Illinois | | February 13, 2008 Staff really knows nothing about beer...quaint little place though...make sure you bring a shank with you, as this neighborhood is not Highland Park. Just around the corner from Meridian Room. | | legion242 (79), Richardson, Texas | | July 26, 2006 Strange combo of coffee shop and beer bar with a very well thought out selection. Pretty small and there is bar service only. Only place in Texas that I know of that serves Fullers ESB on hand pull (though it is not from a cask). Formally known as The New Amsterdam- I don’t know when or why they changed the name. |
