A very large place actually. Many different seating areas include outdoor seating. somewhat rustic. multiple taps mostly of the brew keeper great brews, but with good guest taps as well. very helpful and friendly workers. food is average. beer is great. overall, a great value.

Visited whilst in Cleveland to see a fellow Ratebeerian and friend. The place sits in a small town about 25-30 minutes outside of Cleveland, in a nondescript and somewhat soulless looking building. The entrance was initially a bit mis-leading, as the door is on the side of the place, rather than in the front. The front lobby has some beer trinkets, and leads to a dark, somewhat dated dining room that was empty during our visit. The beer sits at the far end of the room, with the brewery in an enclosed room to the left. The beers on tap were a combination of those brewed on-site, as well as several guest taps. Most of the former were fairly well-crafted, and fell within a broad range of the style spectrum. The brewer was there during our visit, and was kind enough to show us around the brewery, and to talk with my buddy and I for over an hour. Overall, definitely in need of some cosmetic improvements, but the fundamentals of good beer and friendly people were there.

Its nice to have a place by where I live, but they could do so much more. They have a decent house brew selection but the guest taps lack. You also will never find more than 15 people at this bar at a time which makes me wonder how much longer can they last. I hope they figure it out because it would be a shame for me if they closed up shop.

Decent small brewery, bar. Seems to be a bit low budget. Was there on a Friday and the crowd seemed light. Selection was heavy on the IPA’s with quite a few guest drafts. If you’re a hop head, check it out. The food was basic bar quality.

I have absolutely no idea how this place stays open, and its not a testament as to the food/beer/service. I just don’t get it, everytime I am here its is completely dead. This past time, a nice Tuesday evening around 7:30, my wife and I were the only people there. The food is good, regular bar food, burgers, sausage sandwiches, grilled chicken, the beer is good to really good and usually has some nice guest taps and bottles, the service is always really good (usually b/c you’re the only one there). I guess it is just in a really crappy location...which it is. I hope it makes it because I enjoy going.

Very West Cleveland, about 10 miles down the street from Rocky River. After 8 years of unsatisfied success East of the Heights, they have been here a year and a half. This is out of sunlight, except for the protected patio, and downstairs. Somewhat noisy though not that busy, TVs and relaxed environment, particularly compared to Buckeye which was much more white collar crowd. Now the best part is lots and lots of beer. Many taps of their own concoctions, with a good sprinkling of guest taps. And their beer in bottles and reasonable prices (Ohio is reasonable prices for beer).

Visited around happy hour on a Friday night and there were only a few people in the building... not an impressive looking building inside or out, but does have some patio seating, and the tap list is extensive, both for their own beer and guest beer. I visited specifically to try the West 12. Prices were reasonable, beer quality was above average, and access from the turnpike was simple. Recommended if you’re road-tripping through town.

Easy to find location after you decide to go to North Ridgeville. Good parking in front. Clean older building with bar and brewing equipment in the back with tables for food and beverages in the front. Standard and seasonals on tap and good selection of bottles. Freindly server and brewer with good knowledge of brews. Standard pub menu with daily special. I had a sandwich and onion rings. I will stop again if I every need to be near North Ridgeville.

Updated rating. First time was killer with the make your own pizza bar and Guitar Hero to play but now it seems they may not make it much longer. The pizza bar is closed during the week because of slow business, the tap list is ok but nothing very crazy, the house beers are solid but nothing amazing and the food is just your standard flat top greasiness. The idea is good but the location is not and it just really isn’t worth me driving out of the county when I have so much more right in Cleveland. If you live near here please support the place because it is good and the service is great mainly because it’s so slow but with gas at $4+ I’ll stick with my locals.

Tonight was the first time I have ever visited this spot and I will be back. When I approach the bar I was looking over the beer menu and was asked by a regular (who is also a brew coach) what I was interested in, he suggested their barleywine and he was right on the dot (it rocks). The service was really good, they were very friendly and knowledgeable. The interior was a litlle lackluster but very clean, they need some eye candy (I’m not talking about the waitresses, they are just fine). I did not eat there but my friends who were eating there gave a thumbs up to the food (they are really picky). The selection of beer was outstanding for a place that only serves mostly their own beer, they had something for every drinker whether you like Budwieser (yuck) or Rochefort they will have something that agrees with your palate and for 5 bucks they have a nice beer sampler. I almost forgot to mention that they offer a "brew your own beer" service which I intend
