Newly opened suburban version of the LSU campus mainstay - the Chimes. Busy even on a Tuesday evening in January, this place seems to be packing them in. Has about 60 on tap - nothing mind blowing - but good assortment of common Brits, Belgians, Germans and more macros than you can shake a stick at. Very small selection of micros though outside of the local favorite Abita, which they have a rotating tap of their latest Select series. Around 75 bottles in the cooler, decent selection - probably the best selection in the Baton Rouge area - again, common imports with a few gems such as Chimay and Delirium. The food is serviceable, I had the salmon and it was very good. Even though the bar area where I sat was very crowded, it did not seem to have the heavy smokiness that the campus location seems to always have. Worth a stop.
