Take a stroll in this quirky neighborhood, have lunch on the Avenue (the main road thru this section of the city), then definitely stop here to load up on one fo the best selections of craft beers and quality imports in Baltimore. Friendly staff always ready to answer a question or open a register. Great place to catch the latest releases or newest distributors. And everything is reasonably priced.

Very nice store, lots of wine, lots of beer. There are dedicated sections to English, German, American, and Belgians. Plus a TON of cold 6’s. Found some quite unique american brews, like Dogfish Head 120 min and Oak Aged Yeti Imperial Stout. Prices were low for my experience, $8.99 for Victory Storm King? Maybe its just cause I’m from Michigan... Store also had some upscale food items, olive oil, etc. A must visit for Baltimore.

A great wine/beer/liquor/cheese shop in a quaint, casual neighborhood in Baltimore - not the biggest import selection, but one of the better selections of regionals you’ll find in the area, and at reasonable prices, too (I got some gumballhead for 5.99, and I seem to remember paying nearly 8 for it elsewhere, plus some clipper city bellow decks for 5.99 a 4 pack) - the cheese selection is quite nice - the store is clean, well-lit and spacious - if there were more space dedicated to beer, it would be the perfect store, but it’s not called "the beer source," so I certainly can’t complain.

You’ll find loads of regionals, rare finds, and seasonal goodies. A few shelves full of Germans, some brits, a good mess of Belgians available in singles. Decent prices and good parking setup. Don’t be fooled by the Wine name or the distributor look from the outside.

While visiting a friend in the area, I stopped by this place and saw quite a nice selection of beers that I am unable to get in NJ. Lots of Cali places that don?t make it to NJ where available here at really low prices. Bear Republic at 3.50? Good source for great beer. It’s heart is wine, but beer is part of its soul as well. Nice selection of cheese available as well.

The Wine Source is located in Baltimore’s Hampden neighborhood. This place is a hidden gem in my neighborhood, but don’t fooled by it’s name because good beer is an essential element to this business. This place has the largest selection of American, Belgian, German, English, and Canadian craftbeer south of Wells Liquors. In addition to the major brewing countries you will also find many other beers from Eastern Europe and elsewhere. The Wine Source puts an emphasis on local and regional breweries. Expect to find many seasonal and rare/hard to find beers. This place is great if you are looking for a cold six, because they have a twenty door coldbox and at least half the spaces are reserved for craftbeer and imports. The staff’s knowledge can range from adequate to above average.
