Flat out, this place stinks of fish. If you have an aversion to that kind of odor you probably want to head over to 99 Ranch Mkt in Albany for your sake needs. After years of driving by this place I figured I would check it out as I was searching for a sake source. Marking is limited. When you walk in the aroma of fish kicks you in the face. If you’re only going for sake or beer you’re lucky as the sake wall is immediately on your right. Beer is in the color just beyond the registers. They do have a good selection of fish, as well as packaged foods from the orient. Of interest to people with green thumbs is a collection of seeds you can plant, including purple and atomic red carrots! Bummer it’s already June or else I’d plant some of them. Sushi was OK, but nothing exciting. Overall, I’ll probably skip this place the next time I want sake unless I can’t find it elsewhere.
