This is the place- you do not take your mother in law there, neither do you go there for a sunday lunch- but you will for sure go there for the beer! They have done absolotely nothing to the place since 1951, except painting. Walls full of photos from the WW2 liberation days in may, from the area. After 3 days beer tasting I came to heaven in paradise. The brewery Koutna Sumane really know how to produce a good draft. Their 12 is unfiltered, with a rich body and good taste, some orange in it and a good after bitterness - Take the bus 133 from Na Porici/ Namesti republiky to the Tachevské Namesti, If you afterwards go through the tunnel, coming out from the tunnel, two blocks ahead you will come to Krizikova, turn left walk 700 meters and you will end up at Pivovarske Klub. A perfect combination of two good spots in Prague.

This place is weird but also quite amazing. We came when they opened around 11 o ’clock. Very cheap working class pub. A nice looking waitress who smiled and laughed and really tried to understand us. In the end we came along with 10 Filtered, 10 non - filtered, 12 Filtered, and 12 non - filtered. And YES. 4 KOUT beers on tap. Extremely cheap. Managed to buy 2 full glasses and bring them with me in my cab up to Zly Casy. A MUST visit but would not dare to eat there.

Kout pub near karlín tunnel. very old pub in working class quater of Prague. Average good food for good price. On tak All Kout na Šumavě beer out of 18 Porter.

Simple suburban boozer in the wild ŽIŽKOV quarter; the only place in Prague (besides a fancy restaurant at the banks of the Vltava river) where the superb, great and gorgeous KOUT’ beers are available. The meals are - as usual in czech simple restaurants - depressing........ Nevertheless a must!
