| Crosling (70), Loveland, Colorado | | May 26, 2008 Selection of about 60 Swedish beers. I was pretty impressed with the beer selection and found a couple interesting beers here not found elsewhere. I was also delighted with the staff, who treated me really kindly. I also ate lunch here two days in a row. I found the food to be unique, home cooked, hot and reasonably priced (only 70 Kroners for a great lunch, about $ 12.00.) They also offered free bread and coffee. Overall, I can really recommend a stop here, or two. | | Ungstrup (209), Frederiksberg, Denmark | | May 24, 2008 A cozy small place, looks like a really cozy place to eat, though I was only in the bar a late night. I was very disappointed in the beer selection - only 1 new rating for me - Spendrups Mellanöl. But I could go back for food one day. | | baggio (12), stockholm, Sweden | | May 11, 2008 This is a precious little gem among stockholms beerbars. The whole atmosphere is very laid back and the bartenders know their beer and will happily chat away with you for a bit. They only have swedish beers at this place and lots of them. Probably the best selection of bottled swedish microbrewerybeer in sweden. Recommended! | | rlgk (79), Motala, Sweden | | October 4, 2007 Small and quiet restaurant with an interesting beerfridge. All swedish bottles, from different microbrews. Nice relaxed staff and a very nice laidback atmosphere. | | larsga (101), Oslo, Norway | | July 10, 2007 Small, quiet local restaurant with a bar corner where the locals sip their Sunday beer. Interior is a strange mix of old and grungy and new and eccentrically modern.
Beer selection is nearly all Swedish and very good. The taps are not very exciting, but in bottle they have lots of stuff that is hard to find. Getting through all of their Swedish micros is likely to take you more than a day, even if you’ve had some before.
Service was friendly and knowledgeable. Food was good, too. | | Rastacouere (408), Montréal, Quebec | | May 30, 2007 So forget about the casks, but indeed, they do have a few rarer bottles around that I could not find anywhere else, so if you have enough time to do a 5th place (after Oliver Twist, the Warehouse and Mackinlay) in Stockholm and have broken your Akkurat budget by then, this is the right spot. Friendly crew. unfortunately no Näarke when I visited. Not mandatory, but complementary. | | oh6gdx (61), Vaasa, Finland | | October 25, 2006 [ Updated February 25, 2008 ] Visited this one during lunch hour, so the place was quite crowded with people, but still they also happily served the thirsty beer rater. Not that huge selection, but they do have some quite rare Swedish microbrewery beer, by the time I visited they had beers from Nynäshamn, Närke, Ahlafors and some others. Nice place with a terrace summertime. Just a 3-4 minute walk from Monk’s Cafe. Times seem to have changed, 11-14 and 17-22 seemed to be the weekday open hours. (closing for a while after the lunch rush). |
