| fiulijn (180), Como; Lausanne (CH); Malmö (SWE), Italy | | January 27, 2008 It has been the first of the chain, and I started visiting it many years ago the ambiance is quite warm. Food and beers are really not so important here, they just need to gather money, and in front of the Geneva main station it’s not difficult whatever you serve. | | SamGamgee (23), Santa Cruz , California | | January 14, 2008 Went on a weeknight in December, and it was absolutely packed. Their Christmas beer was the seasonal, and it was pretty good, but I couldn’t get enough info to enter it in here because our waitress didn’t speak english, and the bar was so crowded that I didn’t bother looking for more help. Suprisingly, we were able to get everything we wanted with our limited French. The beers were a mixed bag, with the wheat being pretty bad, but the agave-lime was good as was the Christmas beer. I would have tried more, but didnt see the sampler on the menue before we ordered, and it was so crowded that we decided to go elswhere after eating. The food is good, but it, as well as the beer, is pretty expensive. | | doubelknv3 (20), Illinois | | November 18, 2007 [ Updated August 3, 2008 ] Had many of fun nights here and my favorite slr was the Biere de Lion. The Flamanques are decent. Can get quite crowded on Friday & Saturday nights, which can make it difficult to come with a large group. Nothing better than having one of their 10 L cylinders with a group of friends out on their patio. Easy to get to from Cornivan sation or a short walk up from the Lac Leman. | | caesar (111), Bunnik/Utrecht, Netherlands | | July 12, 2007 Nice place in Geneva, located across the station. Lots of people, ranging from tourists to local youngsters. Especially in the weekends very crowdy. Food was decent, but expensive as is the whole of Geneva. Beer is reasonable, but the fun is that you can order 3, 5 and 10 L columns, which you can tap yourself. Great fun! |
