good for sitting out of the restaurant, in summer, in the shadow.
you see the river and a part of the old town there
inthere you can see the brewing tanks and it is in an old cellar from the rathaus(seat of the city-governement)
good food,but rather expensive,with some swiss food, but also german food ( for example bawarian saussages, or meals with knödels)
the lucerne-inhabitants go there if they want to eat bawarian.

Had an unexpected day off (St. Someone) a while back so escaped the office with a buddy and went for a drive. Stopped for a couple hours in Luzern and the clean crisp beers really hit the spot on a warm day. Pils / German styles brewed on premises. Nothing huge or unusual but quite good on our visit. January 2002: With an exceptional location along the banks of the Luzern waterfront and within tripping distance of its famous bridge, this was a great place to warm up with some quality German-style beer and some great food. |
