5 reviews for Mellow Mushroom (Franklin)
| illinismitty (224), Nashville, Tennessee | | May 10, 2009 I am a little surprised this place is on here, because a portion of those 20 taps is macro crap..I mean there is enough selection on tap to satisfy a visiting beer geek, (Avery, Highland, New Belgium, etc. ), but I certainly would not make a special trip to this place. Every time I visit, it’s jam packed with the Williamson county stereotypes and parking sucks. On the up side, the pizza is very good, but overpriced IMO. Overall, not an ideal place to enjoy beer. | | Butters (150), Virginia | | September 28, 2008 The pizza was terrific. The beer selection was fairly good for the area. Bartender was friendly and prompt. I prefer the MM in winston-salem, but this place was alright. Definitely will stop back by to grab a house pizza if i’m in the area. | | Alerider (27), Indianapolis, Indiana | | March 14, 2007 Good beer selection, approx. 20 taps. Outstanding pizza and sandwiches. This place feels like a happy pizza place on a campus but is instead in thriving old downtown Franklin. | Likeburning (9), Franklin, Tennessee does not count - explanation | | March 5, 2006 I really like what they did with teh old bank in downtown Franklin. The patio is nice during the warmer months as well. The pizza is always great, a little high, but great. As for the beer selection, it’s great for a restaurant that doesn’t specialize in beer. Many of the waiters and waitresses know their beer as well. | | ATOmemphis (14), Franklin, Tennessee | | January 9, 2006 Great location on the Scenic Square in downtown historic Franklin. Food is good - they are known for their pizzas and calzones. They have Yazoo on tap which kicks ass, and their bottle selection is certainly numerous. Fun place to go to drink WITH a meal. Just to drink? too pricey for my wallet.
Best server I’ve had was Nate - and i believe there is a patio area in the summer, not 100% sure. |
