August 26, 2008 Visited on a Friday night. Not overly crowded but a decent crowd. Live band. Lots of TV’s with various sports showing. The waitress was very helpful and knowledgeable of their selections. Their beer are all average but a good selection. Very cool rustic type building to give you that mountain feeling. |

May 31, 2008 I enjoyed my visit to Smoky Mountain Brewery. It was nice and roomy with a lot of televisions around. The service was very good. 9 beers were available during my visit. I tried them all in a sampler tray and was impressed with some while not impressed with others. The wheat, pale ale, and porter were my favorites. I was disappointed with the red ale and the black bear ale. Overall I would recommend visiting the brewery and trying it out for yourself. |

April 28, 2008 Beer is average at best. Like fluffy said, this is pretty much like a sports bar. However, if you make your own beer, no matter how bad, you get at least an 11. Food was a little below average. Waitstaff was very friendly. |

April 23, 2008 They have about 7 or 8 brews on tap at a time. I thought the food was excellent. Eatin there twice and both times got a pizza with roasted garlic tomatos with Texas toast and a side salad with Kung Pao. |

April 6, 2008 decor was typical sports bar. huge and cavernous with blaring TVs. house brews were typical, about 8 or so. here is where things take a turn. when i asked the waitress what she would recommend, her explanation was, well if you like Bud, try___. if you like Bud Light, try ____. if you like Guinness-if youve ever had that before-, try___. etc. seriously, this is how you recommend a beer? comparing it to the mass produced swill? sad. i tried their red, which was pretty much sour and flavorless. their stout was better, but after the bitterness and mild chocolate overtones, it was gone. food was typical sports bar fare, meaning not very good or interesting. it was also overpriced. all in all, i wont be back. i can get bad food, blah beer and crappy prices at tons of other sports bars, thanks anyway. |

March 3, 2008 Visit in January. It was insanely busy. Our server had no interest what-so-ever in trying to help choose beer or explaining anything. The pizza was OK, but I could have gotten the same if not better just about anywhere else. Very, very disappointed. |

July 8, 2007 I’ve been here numerous times, and enjoyed it in varying amounts. Nice that it’s upstairs, though, and the atmosphere is nice when it’s calm. But in the busy summers Gatlinburg gets, it can be pretty crazy up there. Waitstaff is usually friendly, but tend to be flustered when it’s busy, which is understandable. Decent place. |

May 4, 2007 I had high hopes for this place and was let down badly. The service sucked from the get go to the point that they took money off my bill. The put my family and I in a corner even though there were plenty of tables. Just had an overall bad experience. Will try again next time we are in Gatlinburg, hoping it has changed |

October 8, 2006 Great atmosphere; rustic... lots of wood. Good wood-fired pizzas. Excellent location; so close to the National Park. Lots of TVs tuned in to college football on Saturdays (the day I visited). Good service. However, beer wasn’t all that terrific and the wings were a disappointment. |

June 28, 2006 A frequent stop when visiting the Smoky Mountain tourist area. The only place in the area for decent brew. Seem to have better luck at the bar then at the tables for good service. Food pretty good. |
