| lithy (103), Knoxville, Tennessee | | July 18, 2009 Small brewery, relatively easy to find, offered samples of everything and a small informal tour while I was there, only one there right when they opened on Saturday. Picked up a growler and had a good chat, will definitely go back and I wish them luck. 8 on draft. I thought all of their beers were on the above average side. | | dkachur (114), Charlottesville, Virginia | | March 15, 2009 Very small brewery in a very small but picturesque town. Very friendly. They offered samples of everything. They offer bottles of three beers and growlers of anything else for $10. Cash and check only. Normally 6-7 beers available but they had just kicked a couple before I got there. It’s a working brewery so you may have to poke around before you find someone. Parking looks like it could be an issue, though I doubt there will ever be droves of people here. No stellar beers while I was there, but all were solid. Glad I went out of my way to visit. | | NachlamSie (213), Tennessee | | May 19, 2007 During open business hours, Depot Street will sell kegs and growlers. Growlers are only 4 dollars and 6 dollars to fill. The one part time gentleman was working when I stopped by and he was very helpful and friendly. There’s a very small tasting area set up near the front of the establishment. This is a pretty simple operation located off the beaten path. I was staying in Johnson City and we had lunch in Jonesborough, so it wasn’t too far out of the way. If I were in town again and they had something new, I’d get my growler refilled. |
