April 26, 2009 Nice English pub atmosphere. Selection is reasonable with a few staples on tap and most of the bottles that you would want (if you really just want selection then the Ginger Man is a 2 minute walk - go there to experiment and here if you know what you want.) Seems like a larger selection than the Old Monk and Dubliner (the 3 share the same owner/managers), though it could be my imagination. Food is typical but fairly good quality pub grub. My favorite bar in Dallas because of the atmosphere and the simple fact that it has the best combination of beer and whisk(e)y selection around. (great for groups with mixed tastes between the two) |

July 30, 2008 Checked this out on a Tuesday afternoon and it was lively but not at all crowded. Service was prompt, attentive and friendly. Nice atmosphere low light, big bar, lots of seating. Wide selecttion, that does not go very deep but does offer a good variety of countries and basic styles. Nothing rare or cutting edge but I’ll take an Aventinus any day. Food was solid. |

June 28, 2008 Went on a Friday night when it was packed. Pretty nice interior with lots of tables and darts in the back. Bartenders are all very friendly. Beer list is actually unimpressive. Had a few interesting taps but they were out of everything that I wanted to try. DId not get a chance to try the food. Very smokey. |

February 14, 2008 Great place! English bar setting with very good (not as good as Saucer) selection. I had a Goudenband and a Maredsous 10. Great service. |

July 29, 2007 This place rocks! I try and go every time I’m in the area. Great selection of "near rare" beers. Parking’s a bitch on busy nights, but you can usually find a spot in the neighborhood to the north. |

June 28, 2007 [ Updated June 22, 2008 ] Haven’t tried the food but selection is decent by Dallas standards. Decent vibe. Little more upscale than the dubliner, esp. given its location. |

July 26, 2006 A nice "European" style pub in an otherwise soul-less neighbourhood (beer-wise). Very comfortable inside and the food is great. No surprises in selection, but very well thought out. From the folks who brought you The Old Monk and The Dubliner. |

June 2, 2006 Traditional pub atmosphere. Excellent food but service can be spotty. Fair selection of drafts and an excellent selection of bottles. |
