| BMan1113VR (65), Los Angeles (and Dallas, TX), California | | September 5, 2008 Large bar restaurant in mockingbird station. Went on a Thursday night and the place was nearly empty. Selection was interesting. Taps are nothing special except the two local Franconia beers (wheat and Dunkel). Bottle list is not accurate, but that was fine by me, as I got to try Ale to the Chief which was not on the menu. Good and large bottle list. Staff was nice. Pricing was fair. Did not try the food. | | AmEricanbrew (65), Swamp Shreveport, Left Coast, Louisiana | | June 11, 2008 In a shopping mall across the highway from SMU. Clean and slick, yet down to earth vibe here. NO-SMOKING indoors, a great thing. 15 or so taps are Irish themed but they have rotating local craft brews. 100 plus bottle selection . Good Irish style food. | | Bhops (28), Dallas, Texas | | April 19, 2008 [ Updated June 22, 2008 ] Pretty fun irish pub with a fairly good bottle selection. It’s the way dallas does the irish pub... mostly flash, not as much substance, but still fun enough. it’s the same feel as Idle Rich. I haven’t tried the food. | | travita (12), Lewisville, Texas | | March 4, 2008 One of my favorite bars in Dallas. Really easy to get to if you ride the DART. Good selection of bottled beers. Not the best tap selections but not bad. Food was pretty good. Bigger than I thought. | | bu11zeye (112), Frisco, Texas | | June 16, 2007 Upscale Irish pub that tends to always have a good soccer game. Good beer selection for a bar in Texas. They have poker night on Mondays and some type of tasting every Tuesday night. Good place to grab a beer or two after a long day at work. | | bleeng (45), Spring near Beersel , Texas | | April 7, 2007 Nice pub in trendy Dallas. Park in the basement and the elevator takes you to the front door! Cozy environs. Superb beer list strong on Belgiums but a bit expensive. Food was good-particularly the leg of lamb-yum! Service was attentive and friendly. Worth a repeat visit soon. | | ilovedarkbeer (25), Dallas, Texas | | March 5, 2007 This place is great. Extremly well designed interior and very nice and clean. The crowd is mostly upscale city people and the staff is very nice and helpful. The menu is pretty big and they have a great selection. If you like irish food look no further! | alcamp99 (3), Dallas, Texas does not count - explanation | | June 2, 2006 My personal favorite. Excellent bottled selection and very good traditional pub cuisine. Helpful and attentive service. Great venue for large groups, but also intimate enough for a drink with your other. | xfactor (1), does not count - explanation | | January 11, 2006 Great pub. Good food, great beer, a little live music, and a great location = Great times.
Not to mention they show a ton of soccer games. | | peter (14), Philadelphia , Pennsylvania | | December 7, 2005 [ Updated February 23, 2008 ] A smoke free irish pub hidden amongst the storefronts at mockingbird station. Monday nights feature a beer and dinner special and free texas hold-em poker tourneys. Wensday and Sunday nights feature pub trivia. Tuesdays offer tastings, depending on the week it could be beer, wiskey, wine, or a supprise.
Chef Oscar prepares a variety of fine cusine. Try the fish and chips! they are cracker meal breadded so they lack the greasy puff of others. | View Page : 1 2
