June 14, 2007 Always crowded, but always good beer and good times. Food is adquate, but the beer and good times is what you go there for. |

September 16, 2006 Nice place to stop and have a meal and a beer. Nice atmosphere and surprisingly busy for a friday afternoon. Decent beers, worth a stop if you’re in the area. |

April 21, 2006 Great Beers during the Christmas Holiday season. Their barley wine/ holiday ale was awesome. I like their darker brews, but they have to brew the lighter stuff in the summer for the dips that want "something that tastes like REAL beer." Those guys piss me off. Keep up the good work at the small brewery! We need more of you guys. |

December 27, 2005 The very BEST in microbrew beer. Worth the 70 miles from San Antonio. Slim pickens on good microbrew beer in the San Antonio area, so must drive the 70 miles to Fredericksburg. We are from Portland Oregon (the land of microbrews), so we have a hard time adjusting to the limited choices of good beer in Texas. But Fredericksburg Brewing company wins hands down. Also they give you healthy portions of food or nachos here, you will never feel ripped off at this place ... I recommend it highly. |

October 17, 2005 horrible service, just horrible. Chincy, the waiter was not bringing his a game. he had time to care for his chin mullett though. they kept trying to take my food away as i discussed hand jobs with walt and his girlfriend. you should have seen the stares from the bluehairs as walt laced every sentence with a beautifully crafted vulgarity or 3. the food was mediocre the beers were too. but the company was superb. |

March 18, 2005 A must for any visit to this town. Good beer but food is too pricey for the quality/quantity one receives. Go for the beer; eat at Auslander’s. |

March 14, 2005 The town is getting a bad rap here - you folks must have never been to some of the souvenier traps found in the Smokies! At least this town has real authentic buildings and a few wine shops - which sell beer and you can walk around town with it open. Anyway, big beer hall in the back with huge screen TVs is great, beers were above average for a brewpub - I though the "The Giant Imperial Stout" was excellent. Good way to cool off after walking around the gift shops. Did not try the food. |

June 30, 2004 Not much to look at inside, and I agree with Fly that in general, the town is very overrated. But the beer was not bad and we stayed in one of the rooms upstairs and it was quite &quo;rustic&quo;. Staff was fairly friendly, but also very interested in each other, if you know what I mean. Food was good. |
