RateBeer Brew Tour Guide's Comments
This is a nice little microbrewery in town. They offer a full variety of beers but only 4-6 on tap at th brewery for tasting. The tour is short and consise (about 30 minutes) and mainly consists of a very entertaining and informative monologue by the brewery’s founder, Brock Wagner. Following that, the beer tasting begins (4 free samples per person) and everyone is free to roam the brewery, socialize with the other beer geeks, and generally have a great time. The friendly environment is wonderful, and the tour attracts quite a few regulars who come on a weekly basis. The beer can be purchased at almost any grocery store in town.

AmEricanbrew | Check out the Saturday brewery tour. It’s so popular now they started charging admission. Lots of people,(almost) free beer, and good conversation. Pack yourself a lunch for this party. Fun !!

Suds_McDuff | First off, LOTS of people, get ready to stand in a non air conditioned warehouse (in hot houston i might add) and get ready to sweat your ass off!!!!
The day i went there was probably close to 350-400 people and everyone wanted that sweet sweet beer..
But if you can take all that in stride and actually find somewhere to sit (impossible) you will actually start having fun!
Most people were up for a good chat and the employee’s really seem to enjoy there work!
Overall, since this place has become SOOOOOO popular its appeal has lost ground, but if you wear something cool and bring a snack, you should have some fun! and $5 for a taster glass and 4 beers, not that shabby..but buy a pint and get more bang for your buck!
I will frequent again but probably in winter!
...Went with mark, omar and the rest of the crew...

Dansting | Went on a Saturday tour. You get 4 tokens to sample their beers, but if you buy a Saint Arnold’s glass, your token will fill that up instead of the smaller sample glass that is free. People there were very friendly, and the beers were tasty. People actually brought their lunches with them to eat with their free beer. Definitely hit if you are in Houston.

| billism | If you like the ambiance of a brewery, this is a good place. =) I am giving service a 10, because you basically have to wait in line for free beer, which is served to you by a friendly person. The beer selection: All Saint Arnold of course.
You can bring your own food. The tour has gotten pretty crowded the past 2 years. The regulars and enlightened visitors arrive real early or make their way to the front and run to the tables when the tour is over, leaving many people without a table/seat. Its like a damn race I tell ya!
Overall a great place to go on a Saturday afternoon (Better if you get there early!) or for a private party if you are so lucky.

ford9719 | I went today not impressed. The place was kinda dirty and the staff was ok. The guy giving the tour really didn’t want to talk to the crowd. Beer was plentyful and had fun. They need to have more tables for people to sit at. Also, it is a nice place if you want to hang out the 5 bucks to get in for the tour is worth paying cause of the beer you get. Make sure that you bring your own glass with you so you can get more beer then the people who don’t. But dont be fooled the beer is good and you will have a good time.

Zinister | Been to this tour plenty of times, as I live about two miles away. Don’t expect much of a hands-on "tour"...that’s not what Brock and his staff are about....besides, who wants to walk with 200 people around an unair-conditioned warehouse. It’s about good beer, friends and drinking.....and that’s what the Saint was all about, as they will tell you in the tour. After about 30 minutes of a beer/saint history lesson (which is pretty good) everyone heads to the back and grabs a table, grabs a beer and then the music kicks in. Great times from there on...

jujubeast6000 | Nice tour. A little light on the brewing process, and more heavy on the history or beer/St. Arnold’s Brewery. It’s in an unconditioned warehouse and it gets hot during the summer, dress prepared for the heat. They have now implemented a $5 charge to keep the crowds down, and it seems to work. They have picnic tables and people bring all variety of food. Sandwiches and pizza are some favorites and good beer food.

legion242 | I really enjoyed this tour. Brock himself runs them and he is very passionate about his brewery. The beers are great and it is even better to have them so fresh.

| MikeMcMahon | I went to a Birthday party here and they can sure throw a party! WIll definately go back for the tour. I already knew I liked the beer, but the brewery is well run and knows how to have fun.
