September 14, 2008 Typical large chain American Brewpub. However that being said the beers were not the typical American ice cream parlor flavored stuff, which was normally found at these types of places. Food was good by pricey. Not a bad place overall. |

July 27, 2008 I stopped into this brewpub after an Orioles game for a beer and a meal. It was a nice, semi-casual restaurant, but I did not feel too out-of-place in my baseball attire. The service was friendly, but a little bit slow, adequate overall. The food selection was about average, and there were a decent, not exceptional, number of beers to choose from including a couple seasonals. The food was pretty good we all had pizzas and finished them. Prices were reasonable, especially for downtown DC, and overall it was a positive, but not too memorable, experience. |

July 1, 2008 Food was surprisingly decent, but the beer was unsurprisingly crap. Good for a few ticks, thats about all. |

June 27, 2008 An ex-bank with nice ceilings and pillars, maybe physically the nicest of this chain I have seen. Decent though not adventerous beer.Last day for Jason the brewer who is Charlottseville bound to do his own thing. The shwartzbier was the clear winner, the pilsner and kolsch OK. Very decent service and pleasant environment for a city because of tourism. More adventerous beer in other places, client directed. |

June 14, 2008 Typical Biersch place... bright and airy. I quite like the bar area at this one. Had a very tasty burger along with some nice garlic-laced fries. The bartender and the patrons were all very friendly. The beers are pretty solid actually... especially given the heat outside. Can’t complain. |

May 14, 2008 Really nice Art Deco space, with tall ceilings and a Gotham-esque feel. The food is fatty and salty and decent, mainly being a good foil for the beers. The beers IMO are fairly good, the Hefeweizen being the most memorable. There are some tables outside where in summer you can watch the tourists lining up for the Spy Museum. But I wish they would experiment more with interesting seasonals. |

May 5, 2008 Not too bad of a place to have randomly found while just leaving the International Spy Museum. Pretty good food, though I thought it was slightly over priced. Beers are pretty good as well, better than some places that brew on-site. Not bad... I’ll stop by again. |

December 4, 2007 Great place with AWESOME traditional German-style lagers! Jason Oliver is doing a great job brewing some great beers. His Festbier this year was INCREDIBLE. The food is quite ecletic, but very good. If you like adventurous foods, you will love this stuff. The garlic fries are a must taste! |
