4/28/2007 - Visited store in Bellevue and they have closed up shop, apparently for good. Store is under development, does not look like K’s will return.

Lots of good local beers, other US micros and imports. Also has all the Joe 6-pack macros. Prices seem pretty comparable to Seattle beer stores.

This place is just weird...I work in Bellevue and had to check it out. Very good selection of bottles. Picked up some Three Threads, which is out of business and I haven’t been able to find anywhere else. Tells you a little about their turnover I guess. Found a few other gems as well....lots of good local beers. They also had some beers on tap, including Elysian Dry Hop and Far West Ranger IPA....but, this is not a place to go drink beer. The guy working was incredibly nice and new a little about beer, but not too much it seemed. I’m going back tomorrow to buy the rest of their Three Threads Porter:-)

This place changed hands sometime in the middle of ’04 (I think) The previous owners knew a lot about beer, even if they didn’t really know squat about wine. The current management doesn’t know squat about either. I live a block away and have been in a LOT but have stopped going because they basically just make money by keg sales and reorder the craft stock by rote. The best thing is still the CHEAP, varied on-tap selections, which average about $1.50 less than any other bar in Bellevue. The food SUCKS.

I’m not certain but this place may have changed ownership over the past 6 months or so. The selection doesn’t seem to be as consistent as it once was, although it continues to be the best on the eastside. Overall, this is a deli, with a great beer selection, little help from behind the counter, and a dingy feel to the place.

Good place for a beer with breakfast! Ten taps - all interesting microbrews. Right now they’ve got Bigfoot on. The bottle shop section is huge, with a headspinning variety. I can’t argue with a place where you grab a sandwich and a pint, then pick up a few bottles for the road.

K’s is good stuff. While I’d like to see a little more depth in PNW beers, the selection is still incredible. As mentioned earlier, it might run $.25-$.75 more per bottle than someplace else, but that’s Bellevue for you.

Great bottled selection, but somewhat pricey

A very odd place. A great selection of bottled beers and a deli as well with 10 or so beers on tap. Taps revolve fairly regularly and always offer some really nice selections. Next to Bottleworks, the best beer store in the Seattle area as far as I know. Just about every beer you could think of in bottles (not all refrigerated, unfortunately).
