Well, it’s kind of a 5-star bistro as imagined by Denny’s. That’s mostly thanks to the seemingly remaindered black-and-red upholstery, sponge painted walls, and other odd 80s touches. Maybe it’s been around for kind of a while. They really do make the effort from the kitchen. The food is done pretty well, the service is really nice; everything was cooked as it should have been and they have a dozen+ desserts hand-made on the premises. The wine list shows a little bit of thought, if not much in the way of rarity, and the prices there are reasonable.
The beers are solid enough, especially on the pale end of the spectrum (Kolsch and APA). Fresh. A little too far on the malty side at the apparent expense of hops, but oh well.
Trouble is, it’s in Monroe, and unless that’s under a 30-40 minute drive for you, it’s kinda hard to say it’s worth the round trip. They’ll take care of you if you’re in town, though.
