| after4ever (86), Brier, Washington | | May 15, 2006 Solid little local beer bar...shame to see Far West move on, but maybe that’ll be better for everyone in the end. Well, everyone except CB patrons, anyway. Well chosen mainstream PNW ales on draft, but nothing shockingly rare by any means. Solid pub grub on the menu. Always worth a visit, just don’t miss the parking lot or you end up almost in Overlake. | | bitbucket (46), Kirkland, Washington | | May 11, 2006 Talked to the owner of Far West Brewing, which is still a going concern, but probably moving to Seattle. Celtic Bayou had a change in ownership, no longer offers beers from Far West. A dozen good tap handles from other micros and 15 bottled beers means they have the best selection on the Eastside. The food is great, the location is bad, the parking is miserable. | | glkaiser (38), Seattle, Washington | | April 18, 2006 Far West Brewing is no more....went there last week to check this place out after having a couple of their beers a few months ago. A good tap selection, including Elysian Dry Hopped IPA, but no beers are made here anymore. Sad. I really wanted a Three Threads Porter. Still a decent place to grab a beer I guess. | | mreeves (33), Sammamish, Washington | | July 15, 2005 Ambience is about as bad as it can get, as this place is in a strip mall, parking is a pain in the butt, and it’s sort of dark inside. Still, the beers are good, and the food (Cajun) is quite tasty. |
