| Nena (13), West Seattle, Washington | | August 26, 2009 [ Updated August 31, 2009 ] The interior of this place has a really warm, comfortable feel to it. I really like to linger and chat in this place. They rotate their own beer offerings often and also bring in some good guest taps. So far I’ve enjoyed all the beer I’ve tried immensely, and I think they are touch underrated on this site. That’s pretty understandable though, given that the beer is pretty much only available here and in their Burien location. The food has always been reasonably priced and delicious, and the service friendly. Try the stout ice cream. And the stout itself. | | bitbucket (56), Kirkland, Washington | | June 14, 2009 We showed up at the height of the noon rush, and signed in on the waiting list with some worry about the wait. Turns out that the staff is quick and efficient the food was great, and there were some very nice beers in the sampler. My wife was happy to find Lindeman’s Framboise on tap, and the in-laws went for Heineken in bottles. | | SuzyGreenberg (25), Seattle, Washington | | May 21, 2009 Don’t be derailed by the cheesy exterior as this is a great little brewpub; and while I don’t care for too many of their brews, Elliot Bay is certainly doing some interesting things; here they offer the full line of beers (samplers available), above average bar food and an amazing stout ice cream brownie sundae made with the trub from their stout; that dessert is worth the trip alone IMO | rcasta (7), , El Salvador does not count - explanation | | February 16, 2009 en el agua no se puede pedir mejor vista. buena la comida, siempre y cuando se concentre en ostras y cangrejo. se puede pedir tambien los ravioli | | dsagoas (11), , Washington | | December 11, 2008 One of the best brewpubs out there. Friendly environment, not too loud, not too quiet. 14 rotating house beers covering a wide range of American styles. Food is good and you get pretty good portions. | chokmah33 (1), San Luis Obispo, California does not count - explanation | | August 17, 2008 My favorite place in W. Seattle. I had their stout and a sunnydale pale ale and I was pretty impressed with both. Good selection of seasonals, including a few belgians. Good service and ambiance, not your typical catering-to-yuppies Seattle brew pub. Food was awesome, definitely worth visiting. Pints are 4.50, which is a bit steep, as was the food, but worth it. | | BlackDonald (59), Boise, Idaho | | August 3, 2008 Cool place with a laid back mellow vibe. not terribly busy when we arrived on a Saturday afternoon. Beers were very good, no complaints. Did not have a chance to try the food on this trip. Parking was kind of a pain in the ass, had to walk a little bit, but other than that everything was roses. | | theisti (114), Leawood, Kansas | | June 25, 2008 [ Updated August 8, 2008 ] Visited in March of 2008, Monday evening. There was a nice crowd in here of locals. I took the last spot at the bar and almost immediately was included in conversation. Nice vibe. The brewpub overall has a nice bar area, bar tables and a larger dining room. All nicely done, with a space for everyone. I only had time for one Pint and a taster, no time for food on this trip. They had a very large number of beers on, so should be something for everyone. Though not outstanding, the beer was certainly good enough to make this place worth a visit. The one word I would to describe this place is comfortable. | | BrewDad (239), Olympia, Washington | | February 25, 2008 [ Updated September 12, 2008 ] The beers where very good the place was jammed with people. The look was just as I see almost all the others look like brick walls, posters and local art work hung on the wall. The service was so so they like the locals that’s for sure. Tons of extra beers on tap with great names was a little hard to find what I would really want. The servers where to busy to help with the decision. They do have good beers the place was very clean and kids can come with the folks. The WiFi was not working but they it works off and on. Parking was a huge issue very limited. I will go back one day to check it out and get some more great beers. The Stout and IPA was to die for. | | ajm (165), Los Angeles, California | | November 30, 2007 [ Updated August 14, 2008 ] A true watering hole. A great little place with very appropriate and comforting decor - mildly nautical. I tell ya, they know what they’re doing as far as beer goes though it isn’t world-class, it sure is worth a trip and worth a drink. |
