| ideardorff (19), Palmer, Alaska | | August 2, 2008 Visited March 2006. Stumbled across it while shopping in the mall. Did not eat any food, just had beer. The beer selection is mostly German, so not your typical hoppy American beers, but it’s good to expand your beer horizons. The Marzen, Bock, and Dunkle were very good. While the beers are very good, the location is a bit odd and a line formed right in front of us at the movie theater next door. | DjTRAcer (9), seattle, Washington does not count - explanation | | September 20, 2006 Really good food. not a lot of beers | | after4ever (86), Brier, Washington | | August 4, 2006 Slick, pre-fab yuppy watering hole where people go to see and be seen. Very much for the type of person who’s heavily affected by the mirror. They don’t do anything heinously wrong; you can certainly get a decent plate of food and an OK beer here if you’re downtown. Just no homey feel, and no particular dedication to interesting beer. | | Ibrew2or3 (131), Safety Harbor, Florida | | July 24, 2006 Nice location on the top floor of Seattle’s Pacific Place “mall.” My table had a pleasing view of the hustle and bustle below. I have been to several GBs and have really enjoyed their food. This one is no exception. Very tasty. Being a beer geek I find the selection a bit limited. However they do make excellent German Beers. The Marzen is very tasty. I wouldn’t go too far out of my way to try their beer. If you’re nearby and hungry it is a very good choice. |
