Smallest of the Town and Country Markets in the Seattle area. Shoreline and Mill Creek rule the roost for beer selection, to be sure. Each of those stores has at least one employee who really knows beer--maybe not quite to our standards of minutiae, but they know what’s coming out, they know what’s good, etc. Ballard and Greenwood benefit from their ordering policies though I can’t positively say either of those stores has a "beer guy" on staff. You can certainly get stuff that’s two or three steps up from convenience stores here, and a step up from half the supermarkets in town. That said, Greenwood collectively has about 200 awesome tap handles flowing on any given night, so, if you live in this neighborhood, you barely even need a beer fridge, ’cause ’most everything you’d be drinking would be fresh off the faucet. And if you’re just visiting, this place shouldn’t even be on your list for bottle shopping.
