There’s nothing wrong with the atmosphere here but it’s not exactly the type of place a rocker like me would want to hang out. There was a wonderful bourbon barrel barley wine on tap. My sausage plate was good but not mind blowing. The server did his job. Worth stopping through.

I decided to stop in here because it was right off the interstate, and I was traveling between Madison and Milwaukee - honestly, though, even if I were making the trip again, I would probably not go back - the place was nice enough - large interior space, but it still feels homey inside - servers were semi-attentive and friendly - the food was mediocre at best (although I was in at lunch - maybe dinner is better?) - there were only 5 beers on tap at the time, so even though I bought a sampler that was supposed to come with 6 house-brewed beers, they had to give me 5 and slip a sample of Beamish Stout in there to even it out - lame - the beers were mostly dumbed-down session ales geared toward the beer-ignorant, upper-middle-class folks of Delafield - their board made it seem like they had some exciting new beers coming up soon (BA barleywine, batch 500), but on my visit, I was wishing for something interesting - meh.

Big building on top of a hill right off I-94 that I’d passed many times and never stopped in. Very spacious indoor with a nice collection of old beer signs and serving tins along with some old cans and bottles too. The food we had (cheese bread) and saw looked/tasted excellent, so another trip back for a meal will be in the works. There were enough decent beers mixed among mediocre choices from the brewpub and of course macros galore for those not into experimenting. There were plenty of TVs throughout both big and small screen so it would be a decent place to watch a game. There was smoking around the bar, but I really didn’t notice the smoke at all.

Got done with training in Brookfield early so decided to stop on by. The inside is rather cool...it’s large with the brewing equipment right in the middle for people to see. I often wonder if they brew during business hours and how distracting it could be. Service was all right. I was a bit surprised that they couldn’t start a tab for me, instead they kept feeding me receipts after every beer, even though I offered to give them my card. I’m not against smoking but I was at the bar and happened to sit between a fat man smoking a cigar he found in Castro’s ass, and 2 Detroit construction workers that still go to High School drinking parties. The food selection isn’t that great......I would have preferred more pub food, and less variety of salads. I got a burger and it was all right, the bun was a bit doughy and I left the place regretting I ate it. It obviously seems more catered to the family run by the father that feels good about drinking something different. The beers are average, if that.

The Delafield Brewhaus is nice and convenient for me, so I’ve been there many a time. It’s a rather large restaurant with a comfortable bar area, a big enough dining room, and a large upstairs area that works great for private parties. The food is good with a nice variety. Service is usually very good. The beers are slightly above average, with a few seasonal great ones mixed in. They do a helluva job with Maifest and Oktoberfest, and occasionally have music. Fun times!

Been here a bunch of times. Clear growlers with beer are usually pretty expensive. The food is fairly decent for what it is. Kind of an upscale Applebee’s kind of selection. A decent stop on the way to/from Madison/Milwaukee. (But I’d rather stop at Tyranena if it’s open)

Good little place. They had about 8 beers on tap. The ones I had were all good. I think I liked their Delafield Amber the best. They had an I.P.A. that I think was an Imperial I.P.A. and it was powerful (and tasty). The food came highly recommended and did not disappoint. Well worth the trip.

Very good selection of own beers on tap. The Pewaukee Porter was exceptional. Good service from bartender interested in talking beer. Decent food for its price, especially considering the cost to drink/eat at some brewpubs in the area. Nothing outstanding, but overall a good way to spend a Sunday afternoon in March.

Decent spread of beers, sampled 3. Sat near the bar and at the bar next to a smoker. Ventilation was very good, but this still is unattractive to me. Decent spread of bar food, appetizer sampler was greasy and huge and thin crust pizza big yet good. So much for the cholesterol. Bartenders were attentive and humored me with a sampler of the barleywine before I left - bonus points for service. Hard to get too excited about the beers I have tried on a coouple of visits but I rarely fail to be pleased by the nice equipment and pleasure of drinking in a brewpub.
