Visited for pre-dinner drinks on a Saturday in Feburary as part of WinTour 3. Service was inattentive in the loft area, but cigars were available which made things better. Beers were very good and served in fancy glassware! All in all, upscale and a bit pretentious, but I would revisit for dinner if back in Green Bay again.

First time at this location, but my brother dragged me down to do a flight of beers. We ended up in the lounge upstairs sitting in some comfy leather chairs with our feet firmly planted on a bear skin rug. Man, this upscale beer drinking at its finest!!! Anyway, a very nice upstairs with very helpful staff who are beer enthusiastic. The style of the place is modern with an industrial twist. Although we did not order the menu looks pretty damn good. Anyway, a flight for the happy hour on Saturday 4 to 7 and some boubon aged beers makes this a great place to stop.

I visited this place with my girlfriend. We went upstairs right after it opened, and the bartender looked a little taken back at our presence because it was 4:05, and the bar opened up at 4:00. He rarely smiled and then we sampled 6 out of the 8 beers. He talked with the mananger most of the time we were there. The manager was a friendly chap, but other then that the menu looked over priced, and the ambiance was stuffy- similar to what pfoxyjohn said, it caters to an entirely different crowd. I’ll stick with my friendly neighborhood brewery: TITLETOWN BREWERY!!

Fancy dancy place. I walked in wearing a pair of shorts, sandals, and a t-shirt and encountered a well dressed after work crowd enjoying cocktails and getting ready to sit down to a nice dinner. Who knew? I sat at the bar for a beer, their hefe, which was delicious. They had about 6-7 others available as well. Based on my reading of the menu, the food looked pretty good, but it wasn’t your typical pub fare. Next time I pop in I’ll be sure to wear something a bit nicer. Titletown Brewing is almost directly across the street and is much more casual.

When I first entered this place, I though, wow, this is very New York...what the hell is it doing in Green Bay? - well, it turns out that the owner actually IS from New York (ironically enough, he grew up about 2 miles from the town I grew up in) - yea, the place is pretty fancy, but not at all snooty (perhaps by Green Bay standards it is, but I’m used to NY style snoot, so it didn’t bother me) - the servers were friendly, but sometimes slow - the food was pretty good, but some of it was a little pricey, as were their drinks that weren’t beer (but who drinks THAT shit?) - the beer ranged from good to excellent - not a bad one in the bunch - and the selection was decent (8 or so beers) - apparently they cater to local and out of town pharmaceutical company employees, which would explain the more highbrow ambiance - overall, I liked Titletown better, but this place has better beer.

My wife and I stopped in here on the way to Door County, and were surprised as this was the fanciest meal of our trip! The decor was a northwoods kind of fancy, and the staff were very well dressed. The food was gourmet several-star dining (with matching high pricetags), and was just excellent! The beers were very good, but they only had a handful on tap.. although they seem interested in experimenting with bigger/crazier brews. Very cool atmosphere and attentive service. This seemed out of place in Green Bay, though.

been back several more times since the original rating. very very happy with this place every time we go. food is outstanding if a bit overpriced for what we’re used to but as a special occasion dinner it’s perfect. service is "cool" but i prefer the hands off approach rather than waitresses dancing next to my table while country music blares. the bartenders upstairs tend to be very friendly. no problems that way. very relaxed atmosphere.. been there many times for beers while wearing shorts and a t-shirt. mostly around happy hour. you’ll see a mix of people ... lots of business types but also some people dressed as casually. no need to feel out of place. all their beers are worth a try. each is well done. given the choice between this and Titletown across the street for choice of beer i pick Hinterland every time.

The only drawback to this place is it is a little stuffy for Green Bay, or Wisconsin for that matter. Otherwise it is fantastic. Food is excellent, staff was great and beer was great. I was not dressed for success, but everyone was cool with it and had a fine time.
