3 reviews for Oso Brewing Company
| esjaygee (103), Oak Creek, Wisconsin | | August 15, 2009 Stopped in on a trip to Central Wisconsin. Basically it’s both a homebrew shop, O’sos brewing operations and O’sos tap room. They had a handful of bottles available and about seven or so beers on tap. We were greeted with a free sample of anything we wanted and then paid just $2 for a shaker glass worth and the rest of the samplers were pretty cheap too. Katina, the owner, was in the shop and was very friendly and talked about the brewery, upcoming beers and other assorted beer related topics. It was too bad I had to leave as I wish I could have stayed longer. If in the area, make sure to stop in! | timmyk77 (2), Overland Park, Kansas does not count - explanation | | August 2, 2009 Visited on a Friday morning, there was a large group of us, and they were kind enough to open up early for us. The head brewer showed us the operation while the owner’s wife, Katina poured us some samplers. Afterwards the owner, Marc came out and talked to us. This is truly a small brewery trying to build up a base. They have great beers, including their Picnic Ants seasonal. The red is great too. Marc and Katina are great people and they treat you well. If you go there tell the you want to help them "water the grass." They’ll know what it means. | | jbuzz (25), South Milwaukee, Wisconsin | | April 20, 2009 10 minute drive from the Stevens point Brewery. So you should make the short detour. O’so is mainly a brew shop but they sell their brews and you can see the operation very well from the windows of the shop.
Their beers are available on tap in the shop. I picked up a growler of the Dopplebock on my visit. The people behind this brewery really it make it worth checking out.
