| esjaygee (105), Oak Creek, Wisconsin | | February 2, 2009 Stopped in a few months ago when rate beer was down. I’ve driven by this store nuermous times, but never really noticed it. Fairly small store but a decent selection of craft brews, a small section with build your owns, and an entire aisle dedicated to bombers, foreigns and crafts. The attendants were both friendly and the prices were pretty good. One problem is because it’s off the beaten path, the stuff doesn’t turn over as fast as it should as I saw a few older bottles sitting around. As with almost every craft liquor store - there are a small hadnful of choices I’d never seen before. | | surlysober (24), Milwaukee, Wisconsin | | July 27, 2008 B&B Beverage is in a small town, isn’t very visible from the main road, and doesn’t look like much from the outside. It does have a very decent selection of craft beer though. A bunch of different brewers are represented, however the selection still manages to feel a bit mundane as selection is a bit import heavy and major craft brewer’s more extreme offerings often weren’t there. That being said, B&B does have a few redeeming qualities... first, prices were quite good, probably lower than 90% of liquor stores in Milwaukee... second, I heard about B&B through an advertisement at Showtime Cinema in Franklin, which seemed to suggest that it was looking to become a craft beer/wine focused liquor store, so it’s very possible that selection will continue to improve. |
