“Had dinner here last night with my wife during happy hour. $2 off each of our drinks. Standard pub food. Beer was ok. About 20 of their Beers on tap. The service was super great though. One guy working the bar, taking orders and delivering the food. He was super fast and friendly!“

“Visited later in the afternoon on a Friday. Located in a bit of a shopping mall area. As one of the other reviewers mentioned, it feels like a chain restaurant, so lacks that feel you look for in a microbrewery. Or at least the feel I look for. Beers were just okay. Service really lacked. Sat at the bar without a look from the bartender for upwards of twenty minutes. Would recommend avoiding this place if you can.“

“Feels like a big corporate chain inside, with a dog theme - dog pictures everywhere and all the beer names are dog-related. Beers are subpar / average, with some flaws. Flights of 5 available for a good price. Service is okay, a little inattentive and cold, but good enough. Wouldn’t recommend visit until / unless they’ve got their shit together“

“Drove across the metroplex to have lunch here, largely because this place pitches itself as uber-dog-friendly. In fact, despite all the dog-oriented decor and name themes, Uncle Bear’s is typical for an Arizona brewpub WRT dogs -- only on the patio, and treated aloofly (which is OK, but don’t pretend to be more than that). The beer was pretty good, and the food was standard American tavern fare. Worth a visit if you’re in the area. Brewery #720.“

“Big place. Clean. Stuff to look at but nothing noteworthy besides a big wall of beer cans. Lots of TVs. Service was friendly but slow, clearly understaffed at a predictably busy time. Didn’t get any food. I think there were about 9 house beers on tap which was plenty. Good price for a taster flight and for pints. The beers aren’t quite there yet.“

“New place in town that has the same sort of layout that is popular now with the bar up near a roll-up door / patio area just like SanTan, HandleBar, Mellow Mushroom (Ahwatukee) and others. I couldn’t help to think this place was trying to pull off a clean upscale Gordon Biersch like place but it just seems to miss in the décor, the help (maybe my visit was too close to their opening), the food and the beer. The food I had was alright but was just lacking a bit, the beer was ok too; the IPA which was just about as bad as an IPA can get. Interesting visit. I guess I’ll let things get ironed out here for a year or so before giving them another try.“
