“Visited here November 23 on a Saturday afternoon. Walked (briskly) from 3F and we did it in 20ish minutes. Really friendly welcome from staff and resident dog. Enjoyed all the beers we tried, probably about 6 different bottles in all. The blender gave us and another 3 punters a tour of the barrel room and it was very obvious how enthusiastic about the business he is. When we went to sit back down there were a pile of bread meat and cheese waiting for us! Can’t really fault the place to be honest. Great beer in a great location with excellent service. Will revisit each time I’m in Brussels for certain.“

“Lovely taproom not that far from Lambikodroom and the train station. Spacious and airy interior, a terrace in the back. 17 taps and up to a hundred bottles if you count the vintages. Plenty of new stuff to try, would be nice to visit with more people. Very good service. Well worth checking out.“

“Such a cosy ice cream/blendery family business 🍨🍒🍾. Fantastic authentic atmosphere and vibe 🌾🚜☺️. The brewer who previously worked at 3 Fonteinen for 3 and a half years was 26 years old at the time of our visiting. He was really passionate about his craft and gave us a private tour on the farm showing the barrel rooms and explained his approach to blending the lambic 😎. Amazing service, ice cream and bottle list (impressive lambic quality compared to how new he is in the business). Definitely worth a visit 🍷(3 Fonteinen and Oud Beersel are located nearby).“

“Such a pleasure to visit this legendary lambic brewery- and blendery. Great guided tour describing their philosophy about keeping the lambic tradition alive and the brewing process in detail ☺️. The place has a great atmosphere and vibe with a really friendly and helpful staff 😎. The beer list is absolutely mind-blowing with vintage beers from 2004-present. Highlights that we tried were Armand'4 Oude Gueze Lente (2010), Oude Gueze Golden Blend (2014) and Oude Gueze Vintage 2012 which were all absolutely astonishing 🍾🤯. They have a merchandise shop with high quality T-shirts and an awesome beer list for takeaway 😌. It's amazing they also offer a lot of 375 ml. bottles if you want to taste some different blends and brews 😋. Essential visit for all lambic and natural wine lovers! 🍾😎“

“Oud Beersel might not be my favourite lambic producer, but it's for sure an overlooked brewery/blendery ☺️. The bar is nicely decorated with a wide selection of beers on tap and bottles in 37,5 and 75 ml options. I tried the Oude Geuze Barrel Selection Demi-Muids and Oude Geuze Vandervelden 140 years. Both were vibrant, refreshing and delicious 😋🍾. There is a bottleshop next to the bar with a huge selection of bag-in-box lambic and bottles to go. Overall a really pleasant experience and absolutely recommendable 😎 (3 Fonteinen and Boerenerf Eylenbosch are located nearby).“

“Nice old-school beer restaurant. Menu is classic hearty Belgian dishes. The bottle menu isn’t enormous but it has a range of classics and a few contemporary obscurities. Service was fairly friendly and efficient for Belgium. Prices are decent. It a destination these days I would say but worth a stop if you are in the area.“

“Located not too far from Lot station so you can walk past or from 3 Fonteinen or take a short bus ride. Focus is on equal parts ice cream and beer. Two brothers run the place and one makes the ice cream and the other one does the beer. Blender came to us and was very friendly and inviting. Most people were there for the ice cream and there was a bouncy castle for kids. I cannot judge the ice cream but I found it funny how ice cream focused this place actually was. Beer availability varies depending on how quickly new batches sell out. They had next to their own beers a fair selection of Nevel beers not sure if they’re just a fan or plan to collaborate or something. They had 3 of their own cherry based beers available which were quite simple but tasty. Prices for them quite high tough, highest ones of producers excluding likes of Bofkont and Bokke. Boxes available which had most of their output but very pricey as well. Friendly and nice place, hope prices don’t get worse and complexity of the beers improves as bit.“

“little shop and tasting room selling and serving the Oud Beersel beers. Lots of beer to choose from, reasonable prices and friendly service makes this place worth a visit.“

“Beautiful new beer house next door to the Oud Beersel shop (which is only open 9am-2pm on Saturdays -- though the owners might walk you over to buy stuff to go if you're nice). The beer house has much longer/wider hours and is beautifully set up. They have 15 taps with flights of 3x or 9x15cl pours for a reasonable price. They also have an extensive bottle selection of pretty much every Oud Beersel product, plus HORAL's Megablend going back to 2009 (that'll cost you though). Free self-serve still or sparkling water (costs money if you ask them for it!). Some staff speak decent English, and the female owner is lovely. Maybe they're not the best of the lambic breweries, but they are indeed excellent, and it's worth making the trek out here to enjoy the beautiful spot and enjoy Oud Beersel lambics cheaper than anywhere. *Note*: bottles are about double the price for on-site consumption (€26) as they are for take-away in the shop (€12.95).“

“Words cannot really do justice to this place. 3F is probably my favourite brewery, and droom is the pinnacle of the beer drinking experience for me. You can visit by taking a 12-minute train ride from Midi to Lot, then walk another 5 minutes to this gorgeously set-up place. Other than a few draft lambics, they have an extensive bottle selection of some of their finest and latest. On my visit, they had 8 different Single Wood Speling van het Lot variants for extremely reasonably prices: most bottles won't set you back more than €20-25. Service is top-notch -- very friendly, competent, and professional. The place itself is modern, sleek, roomy and comfortable. Finish your experience by visiting their bottle shop in the same room, grabbing bottles to go, plus whatever merchandise you fancy. Simply the best.“

“The destiny of the lambic pilgrim par excellence. Rustic overall, but with extremely interesting displays of the brewing/blending activities, as well as the quest for going back to what lambic was/ought to be. In that instance, I would wager the guided tour is mandatory. It will dazzle you, but in essence enlighten you as what is being done here - and that is a LOT more than just brewing and blending. Service is excellent, with the Pajottenland touch, and the list of beers to taste exhaustive. A bit less in the adjacent shop, but you will still find some gems from your dreams, as well as some memorabilia. And for prices, unbeatable in any retail nor venue. All in honour to Armand (and Gaston!).“

“An amazing place, extremely well run and full of exciting stuff to try. We visited during their “Twisting the Fate” event in 2019, so your mileage may vary, but likely will be just as great. The tasting room is large, with bottle lights strung from the ceiling. Modern feel, a relaxed vibe and enthusiastic staff. Don't miss the special cases of lambic breweriana near the entrance, a sculpture of Armand Debelder as a spider, and a portrait of local writer and lambic enthusiast, Herman Teirlinck. Selection was off the charts, 2 dozen bottles and 4 or so drafts, possibly more. Bottle prices have crept up recently, but most specialties were 20 euro or less (besides the OGV magnum). We met some other people from the US and shared bottles, and ended up sampling a dozen or so. There was a Shaerbeekse kriek that was 79% fruit, intensely fruity and rich. Sauterne barrel lambic on draft, the best faro i've ever had, and many more highlights. Arrange a tour of the barrel room in back if possible, there are some really interesting barrels to see, and the tour is certainly informative. Don't miss a stop at 3F, you won't be disappointed.“

“Difficult venue to spot, you'll definitely need a gps for this one! Besides, it's in the middle of nowhere, so you'll have to go just for the sake of it -but it's worth it, for sure, if you like lambic. They only have their beers and a few things to eat (cheese, pudding), but the opportunity to drink some old Framboos or Zenne y Frontera or a lot more from their portfolio at a very reasonable price and then grab some more in the shop will make it worth your while. And, on the plus side, you can spot the barrel room through a few well-placed windows; and play pétanque (weather permitting.)“

“Visited the place during the weekend of the "Nacht van de Grote Dorst" in 2018. Packed on a sunny day. Large, to commercial in my opinion. Some shopping done, quite expensive. No time for a drink. Did that at home. Brews are very good. (28-4-2018).“

“This place really doesnt need an introduction to Lambic hounds! Great selections of bottles to drink in, small shop for take away, the menu is also available online and you can usually get snacks like cheese, bread, dried sausages and some paté in the shop. Relaxed amtosphere and a nice garden with tables and benches!“

“A short train ride from Brussels, is this large place in the midst of the small village of Lot. A big outdoor pavilion and an almost equally big indoor hall with big tables as well as stools along the windows and the bar. Great selection of bottles and tap beers, with both the regular and more experimental stuff, as well as faro on tap for authenticity. Nice ambiance and a service minded and knowledgeable staff. The shop offers merch and bottles. A brilliant place such a short ride from Brussels time is really no excuse not to go, even though it’s no problem spending a lot of it there if that’s not an issue. Only snacks available though, so fill up on food before going.“

“Short train ride from the city centre and small walk. Heading there on a nice day means you have way more space since you can make use of the inside and outside. Inside there are multiple large tables and a long window table with stools, merchandise displayed on the main long wall (which can all be purchased in the room to the left of the entry along with beer to go) and then the bar. Behind all of that is the barrel room (tours can be had) and then various tables outside. Various games are available to play including mijole and a semi hidden picolet court. The bottle list to drink there is pretty insane, served by knowledgeable staff....a little bit to eat on side like cheese and some sausage but if you are planning a long day you may want to bring food. A must visit and for me probably one of the best places to drink beer...I of course may love 3F.“

“Big beer bar and shop a short train ride from the center. Very nice service. Bar has great selection of bottles and 3 taps. Shop had only the core things + hommage. Prices are reasonable for these kind of bottles, although more expensive than cantillon for example. Overall: great place, if you like lambic.“

“Took a cab from Tilquin with the crew. There was some space on the outside but to warm outside 35 degrees and no wind. Old interior with mostly elderly local people. A bit pricey food, the salad with the kriek vinaigrette was OK but not more. Not impressed at all with the beer list, seems that connection with 3F is gone. Friendly staff. Toilets clean and located some steep stairs up (don’t bring your wheelchair). The best thing with this visit was that we discovered that there was a Kasteelfestival the very same afternoon in the village;).“

“Pased by here a bunch of times but never on Saturdays when they're open. Finally visited during TdG 2019. Old brewery musuem with a bar next to it, and they had set up some tents around the place too. They had volunteers to make sure everybody could get a guided tour which was very nice. Even though it was busy they took time to explain the story of the brewery/stekerij.

Lots of different beers available for TdG, prices were fair. Some food, but again meat-only (thumbs down). Very frienly volunteers all over the place. They also have a small beer shop which is open regularly and nice to visit for cheap geuze. Nice place!“
