“Nice large suburban liquor store. Very large beer section in the back, with lots of local offerings, as well as a decent selection of micros from across the country. Service consisted of "did you find what you were looking for?" as I checked out, but that’s okay because I did find what I wanted (and more). They’re quite a bit out of the way for me, but might be worth another visit some time.“

“Met up with a dude here for a beer swap last night and just happened to have GI BCS on tap, so win for me! Also, had Blushing Monk on tap along with some other more limited beers. Nice vibe to the joint and service was stellar. Prices might have been a tad on high end, but worth it for the quality of brews. Just wish I lived closer and would stop by much more often.“

“Stopped over as I was close by for a soccer tournament. Smaller store, so not a huge selection, but the stuff they had was solid. Prices seemed reasonable and I was asked a couple times if I needed help.“

“There aren’t 60 taps, but what they have is quality. It seems every week they are tapping some new release, and they seem to always get the limited releases. I visited once, and then again a month later, worried there’d be nothing new on tap. Pleasantly surprised to see at least half of the taps had changed. Flights are four 4oz pours of anything on tap. $7 or so I think. Also, pre-determined flights of MN beers during happy hour for $4 or $5“

“Beer is in the middle of this oddly shaped store, wide, not deep. Beer selection is good, surprising for the size. More cold beer would be better. Okay help, i have had to ask instead of it being offered. Prices are fair, and occasional great deals.“

“Great beer on tap and rotates to satisfy the easily bored, like me. Food is awesome, and there is often deals on food or beer. Ambiance is mostly good, but some odd things (christmas lights?)Jason is the man, he will help you find a beer you will like. Give this place a shot.“

“This store is huge! Wine up front, but 50 cooler doors across the back. There is also a decent section of warm shelving. Great selection with new beer there every time I go. They have 2 entire doors for make your own 6 packs. Prices on some stuff is higher, but the service is really good, always some beer person around to help.“

“Very big liqour store, with a fair sized beer section. Lots of Minnesota and Wisconsin beers, fari variety of other micros and imports. Pretty big make your own 6 pack section. Service was great, had 3 different people approach me to see if I needed help! Not sure about the prices, seemed fair at the time, but bought 2 bombers of Leech Lake for $5.99 each, then came on RB and saw other reviewers got them for $3.49 and "below $4".“

“This place is almost across the street from my house and I still haven’t rated it... Solid place. You won’t find too many rare, one offs, stupidly amazing beers, but they do have a tendancy to have the hot seasonals in the coolers for longer than the more ravaged and picked over destination liquor stores. They have a good variety of almost everything in the state that’s made stateside. Their European selection is pretty low. However they recently remodled and all beer is in the cooler. Outstanding! Prices can be on the high side, especially for liquor. Probably not worth driving north for if you’re closer to Cellars Roseville, but one of the best bets this far north in the cities. Updated August 21, 2014. they remodeled a year or two ago and have vastly improved selection. It was solid to begin with, but now it really is great. Likely one of the best in the north metro. If you are in the area, they also have brewer seminars frequently that are really excellent.“

“Made my first stop here for a beer tasting event on 1.22.2011, and had a lot of fun. Brandon is terrific - knows his stuff, is extremely friendly and willing to discuss whatever you might want to chat him up on beers. Nice selection - I didn’t see any mix-and-match 6’ers (unless I missed it), but they have plenty of good stuff and a few that are trickier to find. Having a beer guy that’s passionate about what he does makes all the difference.“

“Small selection and prices that are a little high. Rare beer for sure, but not a huge selection. A few singles. Friendly service, at least 4 people offered to help, which is kind of overkill. They just dont have enough beer to get me to go much higher on the score, but this is not a bad place at all.“

“Nice place when your in the north suburbs. I do find myself stopping in quite a bit. The selection is not bad at all, once in awhile they even surprise you more with a limited brew. Pricing is very fair by far the cheapest within a 10 mile radius.“

“I live so close so it is easy to get sucked in. You will pay for the convienence. I really enjoy talking with the employees because, they are so friendly and fun too talk to. Selection is the same as anywhere that carries craft brews Founders, Averys, Flat Earth, Bells and Belgiums the selection is growing weekly. Plenty of stores closer to the city with same beer and alittle more selection. They need a few more coolers and this place could be something special.“

“This is a decent place to pick up some beer for local beer lovers. They have a decent selection of local brews such as Surly and Flat Earth with plenty of others as well. Also a decent selection of imports available. Service is quite good: I am always greeted warmly when I enter and the guy who buys their beer has some solid knowledge of beer and always willing to make a recomendation. Layout is a little crammed but service and selection more than make up for it.“

“Was not expecting much when I first visited but was pleasantly surprised. What I first noticed was how spacious the layout of this store is compared to others. Also was expanded summer 2012 with more fridges and an increased selection. Pretty good selection of seasonals and local beers which continues to improve and expand. Also features a create-your-own-six-pack. Definitely one of the best in the north metro.“

“This place has a fairly large selection of beer, including many imports. Unfortunately a good number of their beers are macro brews which also make up most of their international selection. Always have some decent local brews on hand but the beers of the month leave something to be desired (for several months the manager’s choice was Miller High Life). Service is all right, food is pretty good, though it gets pretty busy on weekends. Overall, it is a good place for those who are just getting into beer.“

“Stopped in this store on my way up to the cabin after being told about their selection. By far the best and largest selection of craft beers and wine in the northern suburbs. I was greeted as soon as I walked in the store. I didn’t look around long before someone asked if I needed help. Ended up buying much more than I needed due to such a great selection. Definately worth the stop.“

“This was a good store for the location. Lots of good, if not rare beer. Some very good Belgian ales, nothing sour. Solid domestic selection. Prices are high on everything, beer and everything else. Laphroaig 10 was $10 more than I would pay at Cellars. Unibroue beers were $7.99. Most of the service was friendly, some, not so much and seemed bothered that I was there. Very good beer tasting on Superbowl Weekend. Good selection, especially on wine. Lots of less common Bloody Mary mixes. Make your own six pack section with nothing interesting, and it doesn’t appear they sell individual bottles. One of the larger liquor stores in the Twin Cities, but not really a destination for beer yet.“

“Wasn’t too sure what to expect, but I was pleasantly surprised. Seemed like most Avery, Flat Earth, Bells... the usual suspects around here. Good array of imports: Cantillon, 3 Fonteinen, Traquair, Dupont, etc. Since it’s still "undiscovered", they seem to have an abundance of things the other "main" stores in the metro have been raided on. The beer manager is dedicated to expanding even further, is knowledgeable and happy to help. Good Scotch and wine selections are a bonus. Not a destination store by any means, but definitely worth a stop if you’re in the area, especially if you will only be in the NW metro. If you have someone playing in a soccer game across the street at the Sports Complex, I think a Cantillon would go nicely!“

“They seem to have a different idea about deep dish pizza than I do. Other than the dismal pizza, everything was pretty average for an Old Chicago. I go here when I vist my brother in law. Its a nice fun place to get a drink or two, and the people who are usually there are a good crowd.“
